It is just a very short stroll from the village centre's bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Off the entrance hall there is a handy downstairs WC with wash basin.

Soak up the Cotswold atmosphere in the lounge which has a log fire, exposed beams, wooden floor, dining table for four people. There is a 32 inch flat screen TV and DVD player.

The extra downstairs room is the snug, the perfect place to snuggle down after a hard day's sight seeing or walking. There is another TV, this time satellite. Wifi is available too in the cottage.

Off the snug are the stairs to the first floor. Have a wonderful night's sleep in the master bedroom which is cosy and spacious. It has a double bed with luxury mattress, bedside tables, double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The twin bedded room has two white iron single beds again with luxury mattresses; a double wardobe; and a dressing table.

The bathroom is fully modernised with a bath and over shower; WC and wash basin. Plus lots of shelf space!

You can get instant hot water and heating through the combi boiler.

The Cotswolds region

The Cotswolds is set in the heart of England and offers visitors everything from areas of outstanding natural beauty to Roman ruins. Equally as pleasurable are the country walks; outstanding restaurants and pubs with roaring log fires.

Bourton on the Water, known as the Venice of the Cotswold's because of the ancient bridges that straddle the River Windrush, has many attractions. These include Birdland, a beautiful park and garden containing over 500 birds; the Cotswold Pottery; Bourton Model Railway; Cotswold Perfumery; Cotwold Motoring Museum. Just a stroll by the river taking in the honey-coloured 300 year old stone cottages is an attraction in itself.
