The Bournemouth / East Cliff, Bournemouth area
Bournemouth is well situated on the South Coast, within easy reach of some the UKs best landmarks, including the Purbeck Hills, the New Forest and the Jurassic Coastline. Transport links make Bournemouth very accessible, due to having a local airport, train station, a good road infrastructure as well as being within close proximity to ferry terminals with routes to the Channel Islands and mainland Europe.
The sandy beach, within easy walking distance from Hartford Court, offers snacks and ice creams, with toilet facilities and beach showers. More recently, a new beach restaurant has been opened at Boscombe Pier overlooking the new surf reef, as well as the existing pub/restaurant being refurbished. The Promenade gives access along the beach front to Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Quay to the east, as well going as far as Sandbanks to the west.
Bournemouth itself, is a traditional town, with a large selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, with the Bournemouth Gardens being the centrepiece leading to the beach and Bournemouth Pier from the town centre. Also in the town centre are the BIC (Bournemouth International Centre) and the Pavilion which offer a wide range of evening entertainment, from music bands to theatre and comedy.

Booked apartment to visit family in bournemouth. owners flexible with length of stay so that was great. Its a modern very clean apartment & it was ideal for our needs. Its about a 10-15 min walk into the middle of bournemouth. I found the owners really helpful, lovely people, would recommend this apartment. |

Central location, close to seafront and town. The apartment is spacious, clean, and equipped and furnished to a very high standard with lots of thoughtful extras like wi-fi, DVDs, books, games. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. |
