This is an ideal holiday home for large families and groups where you can relax!
The house is newly decorated with brand new furniture. Large modern kitchen and two bathrooms. We have a sunny garden great for a BBQ after a long day at the beach.
The house is situated 15 minutes either way to the award winning exclusive beaches of Sandbanks and the Blue Flag beaches of Bournemouth. This makes it an ideal home for exploring the south with the towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and the New Forest accessible for great day trips.
Facilities within walking distance include a great pub , pay and play golf course, cash point, direct bus routes into Poole and Bournemouth, supermarket, takeaways and a paper shop!
It is a normal house in a normal street, where as a parent you can relax knowing your children are allowed to be children!

The West Country / Dorset region
The south coast of England is renowned for having longer hours of sunshine and a warmer climate. You are in an ideal place to visit some great National Trust Properties, some truly fabulous beaches and the New Forest is close to Hand.
The property is situated in the middle of Bournemouth and Poole, both thriving tourist destinations with plenty to see and do for young and old alike! We have theatres, cinemas, great shopping and lots of wonderful places to eat, if you fancy fresh fish then head for Poole Quay where you can eat the catch of the day! Fancy a more European flair then head into Bournemouth or Christchurch where we have some fabulous restaurants, many child friendly!.
When you book with us we will forward you via email our welcome folder with great ideas on how to maximise your time here on the South Coast and many of our favourite attractions (which wont cost parents an arm and a leg!!)
Bournemouth is a cosmopolitan town and has 5 ½ miles of seafront and cliffs and is maintained to a high standard expected by visitors and residents.
The Seafront Operation Teams work around the clock to ensure that Bournemouth maintains it's 4 blue flags, 1 Quality Coast and 1 Green Tourism Business Scheme Silver award and has also introduced innovative schemes such as Europe’s first solar powered self compacting recycling bins.
2009 Bournemouth seafront will host the 2nd Bournemouth Air Festival (20th – 23rd August 09) – a not to be missed four day FREE spectacular event with air displays, on the ground action and superb evening entertainment.
Each Friday from 10pm July through to the end of August, a Firework display is hosted off Bournemouth Pier & Thursday Night there are Fireworks off Poole Quay.
If you are coming to Bournemouth for your summer holiday why not hire a Beach Hut for the week, to book this you will need to call Bournemouth Council Tel. no. 01202 451781 and ask for Beach Hire, the cost varies mid - high season during June the cost is normally around £115 per week. Included in the rate are 4 x Beach Chairs & pop up pop down table, a one ring cooking stove, a discounted lift pass & a discounted family land train ticket, it is really good value, if you went to the Beach each day and hired Beach chairs the cost for this is normally £4 per day each, great value, you would be able to leave all your possessions overnight in the Hut, you are not able to sleep there but it saves lugging buckets, spades, crocodiles or any other inflatables back and forth.

Knighton Heath Golf Club is walking distance from the house! A genuine heath land course situated on 90 acres of high ground With fine views of the Dorset countryside, tight heather lined fairways and clumps of pine and birch it is a challenging test to golfers of all abilities.

Streetwise is a life sized, indoor, award winning, safety ‘village’ suitable for up to 14 years
Tower Park in Poole has something for wet days with our indoor ‘Splash Down’ water centre with exciting water rides, a 10 screen Empire cinema, bowling, bingo, fitness club, kids play area, laser battles, amusement centre and plenty of places to eat. there is more than enough to entertain the family
Poole Quay the largest natural harbour is a 15 minute drive, there are always plenty of attractions and events happening on the quay side especially during the summer months. The town of Poole boasts a historic town with a very large indoor shopping area.
Poole Park is located next to the shopping area and is a wonderful place to hang out on a sunny day. Several children's park areas, an indoor ice rink, a soft play centre, a steam train and a boating area and two great restaurants- something for all the family.
If you head off to Bournemouth 10 minutes in the opposite direction you will find a traditional seaside town with a modern twist.
7 miles of sandy beaches with our famous kid zone.
The historic Bournemouth Gardens host many events both day and night for families to include,
Lighting of the tea lights, amazing seaside fireworks evenings on Friday nights at 10.00pm from the pier.
Then of course for the sporting fans the new Reef is being built at Boscombe Beach for those who love to surf and those of us who love to watch!
Bournemouth and Poole boast so many sporting facilities golf courses/ gyms with temporary memberships/ horse riding/ tennis/ watersports/ ski centre in Christchurch
We have the New Forest on our doorstep and also the historic town of Christchurch.
You can take a ferry across to the famous Studland Bay which belongs ot the National Trust and then explore swange, where Enid Blyton wrote many of her children's books.
You really will not get bored whilst staying in this region plenty to do on lazy summer days and those British rainy days!
You could even hop on the ferry at Poole and visit France !
How to get there
The property is on a normal street, but great location on main stream bus routes, easy access toboth Bournemouth and Poole.
Guests travelling from outside the UK can fly into the nearest Airport ie. Bournemouth International Airport, which is a 15 minute taxi ride to the property, or Southampton Airport approx. 40 mins car/taxi journey, should you need to hire a car you would be looking at approximately £17 per day, or you may prefer to catch the train which is a 20 minute journey direct from Southampton Parkway to Branksome train station.
If you are travelling internationally into one of the main London Airports you can get a train or coach direct to Bournemouth, visit the travel exchange in the arrival lounge for further advice. It is approximately 90 mins journey by rail or coach.

This property is only available for three weeks for the Summer season of 2010 due to a family who wanted the property for a year! We would be delighted to welcome guests from 20 August onwards.
Our sister cottage in Bournemouth which sleeps 8 is available all year
We also have a new property for summer 2010 which is an executive property with 5 double bedrooms and sleeps upto 12 guests. Great garden for children with wooden jungle gym, sandpit and splashpool. TV in each bedroom, playstation, wii available. Cot and highchair free of charge.
Bookings are a minimum of 3 days, to include weekends and weekdays.
Check in is from 3pm and 7 pm. check out is at 12noon .
25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking , the balance of Payment is due 8 weeks prior to the holiday.
Refundable Damage Deposit of £300 is required with your booking this will be returned in full within a week of your departure assuming the property is left clean and tidy with no damages.
We reserve the right to charge £10.00 per hour for cleaning if you do not leave the property in the condition of occupation. We understand that this is your holiday so if you dont wish to clean prior to your departure please arrange with us and we will charge accordingly. Full house clean £75.00
If you cancel your trip up to 8 weeks prior we are happy to refund your costs. If cancellations are received after this time and we are able to relet we will return your costs, less 25%. If we are unable to refill the accommodation we cannot refund - sorry we are trying to be as fair as possible!
No refund will be made for non-arrivals. We recommend that all Guest takeout ‘Holiday Insurance’ in the event of cancellation / non-arrival or unforeseen circumstances.
All rates are inclusive of Linen. There are meters for gas and electricity
Children are very welcome
We have a strict ‘NO SMOKING Policy’; we reserve the right to charge a week at High Season Rate to any person found to be smoking in the property or on site.
We have a NO PET POLICY.
The proprietor reserve the right to retake possession of the accommodation if any party behaves in a manner prejudicial to the well being of other guests without any refund.
Guest are held responsible for any damage or loss during their stay.
We are relieved of responsibility for loss or damage to any visitor’s property or accident to any person whilst staying at any of our properties.
Vehicles and their contents are left at vehicle owner’s risk.
The proprietor reserve the right to decline accommodation and are relieved from liability should circumstances beyond their control arise.
The Accommodation is Hired to those names appearing on the Reservation Form only.
On Departure Guest are asked to leave the Accommodation clean and tidy, (an extra charge for cleaning will be made) Guest are asked to sign the Guest Book noting any complaints, accidents, damage or broken items.

Great place to stay, central location! Fantastic for the children they didn't have to fight over bedrooms! Great normal facilities near by, supermarket, chinese, Indian, fish and chips! How lovely to be able to truly relax knowing the kids couldn't break anything!
