Mansard Court is located on Brownsea Road, Sandbanks and is the perfect location for a lovely family holiday in a tasteful resort. Easy travelling distance from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bournemouth and Poole town centre. Sandbanks caters well for tourists and has a superb sandy beach. The apartment has one large double bedroom and a good size twin room. The lounge/diner offers ample seating for relaxing and dining. The apartment is an established holiday property and is carefully furnished to provide all mod cons whilst remaining uncluttered and comfortable. Off road parking is included (strictly for one car). The location is fantastic and the apartment is fully equipped with everything you would need for a great holiday.
This accommodation is strictly NON SMOKING and NO pets allowed. Please note - this accommodation is for families, couples and professionals only - we do not accept hen/stag parties and it is at the owners discretion to accept groups

Our Shopping Service is charged at £30.00 inclusive of VAT or 25% + VAT of all bills over the value of £100.00 - we can take your list to your preferred supermarket, purchase everything on your behalf and deliver it your holiday apartment, so it will be packed away and ready for your arrival. We also offer deluxe hampers if you're looking to celebrate a special occasion or treat someone you love - please enquire for more details.
Security Deposit (pre authorisation of a credit/debit card) for the amount of £225.00 is taken 3 days before your arrival; PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A TRANSACTION but a certain amount frozen on the card in-case of any damages. Once the properties are checked by our housekeepers the monies are released for your use within 5 days after your departure.

Sandbanks is famous for being a retreat for the rich but equally it is extremely popular as a holiday resort for families and couples wanting a special holiday. The general area hosts far too many attractions to mention individually. Corfe Castle is nearby as it the Swanage Steam Railway. The open top bus travels through Sandbanks every 45 minutes and will take you through some wonderful scenery.
About 30 minutes drive is Monkey World, and very close by both Poole and Bournemouth offer a huge selection of attractions and places of interest to visit. Watersports are popular in the area and the beaches of Studland, Sandbanks and Bournemouth are just beautiful.
Weymouth and Portland will host all sailing events for the London 2012 Olympics! The area is a world class sailing destination with waters that are credited by the Royal Yachting Association as the best in Northern Europe. Sailing dates include 27th July – 12th August and the Paralympics on 29th August – 9th September 2012 (www.weymouth.gov.uk).
You can choose each day to relax and soak up the sun and perhaps some swimming in the lovely clean sea or go sightseeing. Local connections are good the apartment is supplied with plenty of information about the local area.
Bournemouth and Poole are surrounded by some of the most beautiful Blue flag award status beaches as well as stunning countryside with the Purbecks & the New Forest just 15 minutes drive away in either direction. Bournemouth itself has many attractions including Bournemouth Gardens with a hot air balloon providing outstanding views of the town, Bournemouth Aquarium, endless shopping and excellent restaurants. Nearby Sandbanks is famous for its luxury properties, marina and award winning beaches. The Seafront Operation Teams work around the clock to ensure that Bournemouth maintains it's 4 blue flags, 1 Quality Coast and 1 Green Tourism Business Scheme Silver award and has also introduced innovative schemes such as Europe’s first solar powered self compacting recycling bins.
The nearby Purbecks and Swanage can be reached by car, bus, boat, bike or steam train. Dorset contains a complete record through almost 200 million years of earth history during the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods of geological time including excellent spots such as Corfe Castle and Durdle Door. Also contained within this coast are a number of outstanding fossil localities and stunning features such as Chesil beach and impressive cliffs at Barton On Sea. Bournemouth is a cosmopolitan town and has 5 ½ miles of seafront and cliffs which are maintained to a high standard.

"Fantastic location for beach and ferry."
You know you are close to the beach when people are parking outside your holiday home to walk there with all their stuff. The beach was great as well, even when it wasn't the chain ferry and boats to Poole and Brownsea island were only 150yds away. The flat was well equiped but patience is needed to get all the apliances to work.
Sandbanks is a very expensive place to buy property and the local shops and restaurant reflect this but if you want sensible prices the pub is ok and the shops in Poole are fine.
The Good- Nearby Beach & Ferries, comfortable flat, easy parking,
The bad - Local shops, eating space in the flat (kitchen a little small)

We are sorry to hear that you felt the kitchen area was too small, the property offers an adequately sized kitchen for cooking and dining area to seat four persons.
