A beautiful, modern sea facing first floor 3 bedrooms apartment which overlooks the stunning views of Swanage, The Purbecks and Bournemouth right through to the Isle of Wight. Take a walk down the zig zag opposite the apartment and you arrive at the glorious golden beaches of Southbourne.

The property is privately owned, modern and all finishes are of an extremely high standard. Even the lighting in the main open plan area is remote controlled! We operate a strict 'no smoking' policy in the property or on the balcony.

With the open plan kitchen, dinning and lounge area this is an ideal rental for families or couples . Unfortunately we cannot accommodate stag, hen parties or 'all male' groups.

The triple byfold doors open fully onto the large balcony area, ideal for a spot of sunbathing or Alfredo dining. Also a superb way to watch the sun setting or feel free to use our Spotting Scope to view the beautiful views or watch the fishing boats pass by (if you have a SLR camera & adapter, you can take some amazing photos, including some of the moon).

Every Friday, during July and August, you can clearly see the Bournemouth fireworks without the hustle and bustle of visiting Bournemouth Town Centre.

If you are a plane enthusiast, we are fortunate enough to be on the flight path during the Bournemouth Airfestival. This 4 day event is usually over held on the last weekend in August and boasts a fantastic collection of planes, air displays and Navy ships. You can tune the TV into the live commentary and have your own private viewing area on the balcony

Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area:

The open plan kitchen offers various cooking facilities from the usual convection oven with grill and microwave functions to a separate steam oven, chargrill, gas hob and not forgetting the Teriyaki cooking plate.

There are 2 comfortable sofas, a chair & foot stool

The dining table extends and can seat up to 7 easily

The TV is a 50 inch plasma with Freeview

We have a modern wall-mounted gas fire for those cooler nights.

The master bedroom:

A super-king bed with walk- in wardrobe and of course a sea view. If you listen carefully, at night you can hear the waves lapping over the sand.

The second bedroom:

At the back of the property with a double bed, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite with a walk-in shower

The third bedroom:

A single bed with fitted desk and shelf unit and hanging space.

Double sofa bed:

We also have a very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge.

Family bathroom:

Consists of a large bath and a large 'open' shower area


There are various seating and tables to use with a charcoal BBQ

Back Garden:

You have full use of the back garden which is laid with astro-turf. There is some seating and children's outdoor toys plus a clothes line


There are up to 2 off road car parking spaces and all roads around the apartment are 'free parking'

Within walking distance, along the coast road is a local Co-Op and several eateries with various food options and prices. We would highly recommend Cafe Riva, situated on the cliff top, which during the day is a modern tea room with crazy golf & pitch'n'putt and by night from 6pm Tuesday-Saturday transforms to an Italian bistro offering amazing homemade pastas, pizza and specialities.

Southbourne Grove is a 2 min drive/7 min walk away which is our 'high street' with the usual banks, Supermarkets, pubs and local traders.

If you wish to visit the centre of Bournemouth by car it is about 15/20 mins or you can walk along the beach front but it will take a good 45mins/1 hour.

NB: We may consider well behaved dogs to stay in the apartment with a charge of £20.00 per dog. Please do contact me for further information.

The Dorset region

Not many places in the UK offer the vast selection of activities within a 15 mile radius, like Southbourne does. A 30 min drive and you could be in the centre of The New Forest which offers excellent guided walks and bridle paths or you could be watching Deer graze in their natural habitat and then enjoying a picnic on the grass area, surrounded by the friendly New Forest Ponies,in Bolderwood. Other attractions near The New Forest is the famous Beaulieu Motor Museum, Paultons park with Peppa Pig World or the Wildlife Park

Take a visit to the quaint town of Lymington where you can take the Ferry for a day trip to the Isle of Wight.

Christchurch is a riverside town which offers a selection of shops, banks, coffee shops, traditional pubs and wine bars. Visit the historic Priory or take a boat trip down the River Stour, for children there is a playground and in the summer months the splash park.

Further West, Poole Quay and the renowned Sandbanks peninsular from where you can take the chain ferry to Swanage. Take a trio on the steam railway, visit Corfe Castle and explore The Purbecks, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.


Southbourne is perfectly placed to visit some of the best beaches and towns on the South Coast. Along the coast road there is a Crazy Golf/Pitch & Putt Green at Cafe Riva together with a children play park. Walk or drive along to Boscombe and you have some beautiful manicured gardens which hosts another Crazy Golf, Tea Rooms and a small water play area. The town centre in Bournemouth offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, wine bars and of course the gardens, pier and Oceanarium. In the evening the nightlife is rather vibrant. Treat the family to travel in the giant hot air Bournemouth Balloon and take in the fabulous views.

Hengistbury Head is our nearby nature reserve. Have a walk around or choose to have a ride on the 'Noddy' land train. This will take you to the picturesque Mudeford Beach Huts and sandy beaches. You can catch a ferry for the short journey to Mudeford which is ideal for a spot of 'crabbing' (and there is a pub there for us grown ups!)
