The West Country region

Dorset is a very popular holiday destination all year round. It offers beautiful rolling countryside and the Purbecks and New Forest close by.. Bournemouth with its award winning beaches has something for everyone and Southampton, Salisbury and Stonehenge are all within reasonable travelling distance. Christchurch is an interesting Priory Town with a picturesque quay. As well as Poole a large coastal town with seaport.

Dorset features some excellent museums, with world leading centres at Bovington (The Tank Museum, telling the history of military vehicles), and the Russell Cotes Museum and Art Gallery in Bournemouth. Other museums include the Dorset County Museum in Dorchester, The Red House in Christchurch, the Royal Signals Museum at Blandford, and the award winning Brewers Quay in Weymouth. Many smaller towns have their own local museums.

Bournemouth really does have something for everyone, We have so many great children's attractions. if you are adventurous we have Moors valley "Go Ape programme" where you can literally swing through the trees! The Moors Valley park is a great day out with forest walks, cycle rides, children's park and lakeside picnic facilities. There is also splashdown water park at the Tower Park complex in Poole. We have delightful walks in the famous Bournemouth and Boscome Gardens as well as the Beautiful Compton Acres a gardeners delight. The Russell Coates Museum is right on the cliff top giving panoramic views of the coastline. As well as the best beaches in the UK (some say possibly in Europe) Bournemouth has won many "Blue Flag" awards for its overall cleanliness. There are terrific views over the Purbeck Hills. During the summer months there is a fantastic free display of fireworks. You can take boat trips along the coast and visit Swanage, Brownsea Island and even the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth has excellent facilities for tourists young and old, whether you like night-life, restaurants or relaxation. The town and has a lovely calm multi-racial community.

"Nice, comfortable cool."

Definitly no four star accomodation, but à perfect place to stay. It was very hot when we stayed in Bournemouth. The house was cool. A place to relax. Nice walk to town centre. About 20-25 minutes. … More

Sorry about the slight musty smell in the hall. There had been a spillage of vinegar by one of the guests on the ground floor in the hall earlier in the season and the smell seems to be lingering there. The flats are in the process of being updated so you will see a change if you come again. We do not advertise as being four star, but believe we offer a good standard of accommodation, while also keeping the prices reasonable. We hope to see you again.

"Great Holiday"

Stayed with my 2 children for a week. Had a lovely welcome from Pam
who was most helpful. The apartment was very clean, lots of space and had everything we needed including a lovely big garden. They are in a good location with nearby shops/restaurants
and takeaways. The beach and town centre are within walking distance.
There is lots for the children to do and a week wasn't long enough!
Would definitely go back and recommend to my family and friends.
