This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is located within the prestigious Burlington Mansions, a former Victorian hotel which has been recently converted into luxury apartments. This apartment was the last one to be renovated in 2010 and the conversion has been carried out to a very high standard.
The apartment has an open plan lounge with a 3 seater and a 2 seater sofa, a 32" flat screen TV with Free-view and a DVD player. The kitchen area is very well equipped with brand new appliances and equipment including an electric oven and gas hob, a separate fridge and freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a microwave . Off the lounge area there is a dining table and 4 chairs and in addition, there are 2 bar stools at the large breakfast bar. There is a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom together with a twin bedroom and a luxury family bathroom with a large oval bath. All bed linen and towels are included and a travel cot and high chair are provided. There is also a large lobby area which is very useful for storing pushchairs, luggage etc.
The apartment is located just a short walk from Boscombe Pier, the surf reef and the beautiful sandy beaches that stretch along this section of Dorset coastline. A good selection of restaurants and bars can be found in several directions within minutes. The centre of Boscombe is a 5 minute walk away and Bournemouth centre can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Bournemouth beach is a pleasant stroll along the promenade from Boscombe beach or a short ride on the Land Train.

* We retain the right to refuse or cancel any booking
WEEKEND OR SHORT BREAKS - Short stays will be considered outside of the peak periods, subject to availability and a minimum stay of three nights. These bookings will be charged at 20% of the weekly rate for the relevant period. Please contact the owner to check availability.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Please notify the owner immediately of any cancellation. If we manage to re-let the apartment for the period all monies paid, less the deposit, will be refunded. However, if we are unsuccessful in re-letting the apartment no refund will be made.
Please ensure that you have appropriate holiday insurance to cover you in case of cancellations in unforeseen circumstances.
The West Country region
There are so many things to do in Dorset that make it the perfect place for a short break or holiday. There are a number of areas to visit, from the seaside resorts of Bournemouth, Swanage, Poole and Weymouth - the venue for the London 2012 Olympic sailing events - to the picturesque New Forest with its wild ponies and deer.
The Jurassic Coast is England's first natural World Heritage Site and stretches from East Devon to Studland Bay, near Swanage. It is wonderful for fossil hunting, walking and for many water sports, whilst the coastal features of Old Harry Rocks, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are spectacular.
Inland there are numerous picturesque villages and market towns to explore which are packed full of historical references. Dorset is known as 'Thomas Hardy Country' but you will also find links to many other authors including Jane Austen and Enid Blyton.
The Dorset coastline stretches from Christchurch in the east to Lyme Regis in the west and has numerous safe, sandy beaches as well as family attractions and museums. There is the Tank Museum at Bovington, the Teddy Bear Museum at Dorchester, Abbotsbury Swannery near Weymouth and Adventure Wonderland at Hurn. Poole Harbour, Sandbanks and Shaftesbury, the location of the famous 'Hovis' advert are also worth a visit.
Boscombe Spa Village is situated 2 miles from Bournemouth and has a beautiful sandy beach and the first artificial surf reef in Europe and one of only five in the world. A number of surf shops, restaurants and bars have opened up along the seafront and a variety of water sports are now on offer, including wake-boarding, kite-surfing, windsurfing and of course surfing itself.
It is possible to cycle all the way along the promenade from Boscombe to Sandbanks admiring the coastline along the way. Bikes can be ridden at all times except between 10am-6pm in July and August.
In the nearby award-winning Chine Gardens there is a children's water-play area, a mini-golf course, a basketball court and a cafe, or you can take a leisurely stroll through the gardens to the seafront. There are a number of shops in Boscombe itself and a market takes place every Thursday and Saturday with a variety of stalls.
Bournemouth's Blue Flag beach is a pleasant stroll along from Boscombe Pier or a short ride in the Land Train which runs throughout the season until the end of October. In Bournemouth itself there are numerous high street retailers and department stores, together with the Pleasure Gardens and the Bournemouth Pavillion which hosts numerous shows throughout the year. There is also a cinema, a theatre, an ice rink, a leisure pool with flumes and numerous restaurants and bars to enjoy during your stay.

"Excellent apartment in great location"
Fab apartment with large rooms & spotlessly clean! Lobby was really handy to store all shoes, wellies, beach stuff in! Everything provided by owner in apartment that you could possibly think of which is great when trying to find room for everything when packing. Also, great location, 5 mins from Boscombe beach. Lots of great places to visit nearby, we had fab days out at Swanage, which we travelled to on the steam train, Christchurch & of course Bournemouth. Would definitely recommend!!

We stayed over the Easter weekend with our 2 teenage daughters, the flat is in pristine condition and comfortably accomodated the 4 of us.
(Having 2 bathrooms in a holiday flat is a god send when you are the only male staying there!)
It is within easy walking distance to the beach and a couple of really nice and relaxing bars / restaraunts (Urban Reef and Urban Beach).
We will definately stay again.
