Booking process: Initially we send out a booking form and ask you to complete and return with deposit (or full payment in less than 1 month before holiday). Balance payment then to be made 1 month before holiday starts please. We issue Booking Confirmation, Receipt, directions
Linen & towels provided and beds made up for your arrival. No booking fees, no extra charges!
Conditions
Weekly lets are usually taken from a Saturday, sometimes a Friday. During low season another start day might be available.
Short breaks are available except in peak season.
The West Country / Dorset region
Bournemouth lies in the heart of Dorset on the south coast.
The breathtaking Dorset coastline offers everything from picturesque harbours, long sandy beaches, dramatic cliff top formations, hidden coves and rock pools.
The Jurassic Coast is England's only natural World Heritage Site, and is a walker’s paradise. Of equal appeal to the walker is the New Forest, England's newest National Park, but steeped in history.
Poole Harbour is a stunning location for all types of watersport. The harbour and it's islands offer a haven for wildlife including the bird sanctuary on the world renowned Brownsea Island.
The Bournemouth / Southbourne area
Bournemouth itself is a mecca for shopping and a centre of entertainment with theatres, cinemas, a casino and clubs, bars and restaurants. Bournemouth and Boscombe both have charming traditional piers and award winning gardens. One of the newest attractions in the area is the new artificial surf reef at Boscombe.
For families there is plenty on offer for kids of all ages, a couple of highlights being ‘Serendipity Sams’ playpark at Christchurch and Bournemouth Oceanarium.
Southbourne is on the eastern fringe of Bournemouth, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but with easy access to the centre by car or public transport. There are several cafes and restaurants very close to the property including the well known ‘Bistro on the Beach’, a short stroll away, located right down on the beach. Even closer - a level 3 mins walk away is the new 'L'Assiette' restaurant already gaining a great reputation for fine dining since opening this year, 2010. Just a mile to the east Christchurch has a great choice of restaurants, centred around it's historic Priory church.
There are miles of sandy beaches from Hengistbury Head just to the east, all the way past Bournemouth to Sandbanks in the west, with a path / cycleway running all the way along the shorefront.

Easy to get to by road, Southbourne is on the seafront, a short drive from the A338 Wessex Way with good links to London and to the west.
Access by public transport: 1 mile from mainline rail station (Pokesdown on London to Weymouth line), 2 minutes walk to bus stop on a main bus route (1C, Bournemouth buses).
Airports: 15 mins drive from Bournemouth Int airport, 45 mins from Southampton Int Airport, 2 hours drive from London Heathrow, 2.5 hours from London Gatwick.

First time travelling and staying in this part of the UK. The apartment was first class. Attention to detail very much appreciated. The apartment is very spacious. The extra personal touches were a great bonus. Pete advised us on our journey that apartment was ready early which we appreciated as we were arriving earlier than expected. We visited the Bealieu Motor museum during our stay. I would highly recommend this museum. I am not a car enthusiast but this was truly well worth a visit. If we travel to this area again I will definitely be contacting Pete for availability. |
