This Commanderie (monastery farm) dates from 1210 founded by the monks of Boulogne (Italy) is recently completely restored and situated on a private property of 200 acres and is partly, or for rent as a whole.
With an incredible view of the Pyrenees and a 100 % private location, this is an unique opportunity to enjoy your dream holiday in South of France.

The enclosed and heated swimming pool is in direct contact with the house and offers you, your guests and small children a careless and unforgettable stay.

The property comprises of a guest house and a main house which are interconnected.

The guest-house has a large living,completely furnished kitchen with fireplace and covered terrace, fully equipped laundry with toilet.

First floor : master bedroom with bathroom and toilet, further 2 double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and toilet.

The main house has an entrance hall with cloakroom, wine cellar and toilet, office, furnished kitchen with dining room and fireplace, spacious living with fireplace and covered terrace plus fully equipped laundry.

By its ideal situation you are very close to everything, 1 hour Toulouse centre,1 hour Pau centre,1 hour 30 min Atlantic Ocean ( Biarritz ), 2 hours Mediterranean ( Narbonne ), 1 hour Spanish border and not to forget within 1 hour the ski pistes Le Mourtis, Louchon , St Lary,4 golf-courses within a half hour drive, angling ,hunting,rafting ,horse riding,in short something to enjoy for everyone.

“Magic in Southwest France” We stayed in this magical home for 1 week in June, 2012. It was one of the most memorable and wonderful locations we have ever stayed in, and that includes many luxury hotels from around the world. The setting, the view, the hospitality from the owners, was unrivaled. We could have never dreamed that such a beautiful and tranquil place existed that almost no one knows about. “Dream vacation in the Pyrenee's” I am delighted to write a review for this stunning home in the Pyrenee's. My extended family from Arizona, USA stayed in this home in June 2011 . We chose this house because of it's ideal location- easy access to Lourdes, Toulouse, Auch and the spanish pyrenee's. There is so much to do in that area and as we had 4 teenagers in our group- it was essential to be as close to the major attractions as possible. The house is even better in real life than you see in the photo's.Everyone was awestruck from the moment we walked into the house. It is spacious, light, very comfortable, beautifully furnished, decorated, and masterfully restored. The kitchen is perfect for family meals and the beds are extremely comfortable. The huge pool, sunbathing, table tennis, gardens, internet and attractions in that area kept the teenagers very happy and contented.We couldn't have asked for a better location or more helpful, warm and welcoming owners. As we don't speak french at all we were delighted that the owners speak english very well.You can tell that the owners take great pride in their vacation home. It is well maintained, impeccably clean, has every amenity that you could wish for and they were more than happy to inform us of the most beautiful and adventurous places to explore. The home offers ultimate privacy and is surrounded by the most inspiring and glorious gardens and grounds.We found great value for money compared to other homes of similar size and luxury. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning. It was truly a dream home and we highly recommend it. Response: thank you for your review
