This beautiful, recently renovated farmhouse offers you the chance to experience the Provençal way of life at it's best . Located just 15 mins from Avignon, 25 mins from Arles and at the foot of the famous Alpilles hills, the house is surrounded by fruit trees and countryside.

The ground floor consists of a large entrance hall with a stone staircase, wrought irons banisters and large mirror. To the left, a large dining room with fireplace. To the right a fully equipped, modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, induction hob, fan oven, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen leads onto a large sitting room with a beamed ceiling, stone floor and large French windows leading on to the garden. TV, DVD and CD. A double bedroom with a 160cm bed has large French windows leading onto an outside area with a pretty table and chairs under a lilac tree (the perfect place for a morning coffee!). Shower room with wc, basin and washing machine.

Going up the stairs to the first floor, there is an elegant landing leading onto the large master bedroom with a 180cm bed, wooden beams, beautiful stone walls and wooden flooring. Next to this is the "boudoir" bathroom with its wrought iron bath and furniture collected from local brocante markets. WC and basin. There are two bedrooms with twin beds (ideally for children) and another with a double bed (140cm).Two of these have original patterned floor tiles which are so typical of this area of France. All bedrooms have lovely views over the garden and are light and sunny. There is a walk through dressing room with ample storage space.

The garden covers an area of 2 500m2 and leads directly into the apricot fields that surround the house. The flowerbeds are full of roses, lavender and Provence herbs and a small path takes you onto a lawned area with sun loungers and views across to the montagnette (the local hills) There is also a large free standing pool to cool off after soaking up too much sun. The garden has a hammock, swing, Wendy house and dining area where long lunches and late dinners can be enjoyed to the sound of the cicadas and local frogs! There are a number of outhouses (one with an additional fridge), an old pig sty and a large barn which help to create the charming atmosphere of this typically French farmhouse.
