The St Philip Parish region
Edna's Court is located in the Bottom Bay area of the parish of St. Philip. The parish is home of the world famous Sam Lord's Castle, Crane Beach (rated one of the world's top ten beaches according to the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous), pristine and idyllic Bottom Bay Beach featuring white coral sands, crystal clear water, coconut palms and hidden caves.
Other points of interest lie just north of the region in the adjacent parishes of St. John and St. Joseph: St. John's Parish Church (home to famous 17th century sun dial and the tomb of the last Emperor of Constantinople)and Codrington Theological College (which dates back to the early 19th century and was instrumental in the freedom of slaves in Barbados).
Bottom Bay area
Bottom Bay sits on the south-east tip of the island. It enjoys lush tropical breezes year round from the Atlantic Ocean. Bottom Bay is just 15 minutes away from the Grantley Adams International Airport, 10 minutes from Six Roads business, and shopping centre and 30 minutes from Bridgetown.
In addition it has close proximity to two of the hottest night spots on the island - Oistin's and world renowned St. Lawrence Gap.
How to get there
A hire car is highly recommended to explore all that Barbados has to offer.
Edna's Court is 15 minutes from the airport by car. A hire car or taxi can be arranged upon booking.
Bus service runs from Bottom Bay to Bridgetown as well as other area's of the island.
