The villa features three air-conditioned bedrooms, a well-appointed, nicely equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a spacious covered back patio overlooking a private pool with beautiful ocean views exposed to a refreshing sea breeze. The living room has comfy lounge seating for six with a widescreen LCD HDTV and the master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet.

The St. Philip region
Situated east of the windward isles, Barbados is an enchanting coral stone island about 26 miles long by 14 miles wide with a population of about 250,000. The airport is situated approximately 15 minutes away and the capital, Bridgetown, around 30 minutes from our villa.
Bottom Bay Beach is simply breathtaking. It is one of the most photographed beaches in the Caribbean, yet is little known and often nearly deserted. Truly a beautiful hideaway.

Our villa is located on the southeastern coast of the island and is a short stroll from the breathtaking Bottom Bay Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. There are several other stunning beaches within the immediate area including the famous beaches at The Crane and Sam Lords Castle within 5 minute drives, and lesser known secluded beaches at Cave Bay and Merrick's Cove within easy walking distance.
How to get there
Botttom Bay is an easy 15 minute drive from airport. Southern car rentals offers good deals including a 10% discount if you mention Hummingbird House or book on the internet. They (as well as many other auto rental firms) will deliver rental cars to the villa as a convenience. Taxis are also readily available from the airport.
