Key Info
  • Suitable for children over 5
  • No pets allowed
  • Private garden
  • Car advised

On the banks of the Kyme Eau, in the small village of South Kyme, enjoy your holiday just relaxing on the patio, or if you want to be more adventurous, launch your kayak on the river which runs across the length of the garden. A little less extreme? you could stroll the 100 or so metres to the golf club, or even less strenuous? fish from the patio. Bring your cycle, the surrounding countryside is flat as far as the eye can see, this also makes it easy to amble along to the village pub (and back!!), where the landlord is very proud of his cooking.

Ducks arrive for breakfast each morning (their breakfast!!), although its best to 'shoo' them off the patio!, swans swim past with an entourage of signets, the king fisher darts down the river and an abundance of birds nest in the trees. Possibly disturbed by only a passing pleasure boat.

If the season is right then help yourself to the plums and pears ripening on the trees.

Newly built incorporating Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pump, Underfloor Heating and many environmental design aspects to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.

Please be aware that it will be necessary to supervise children due to proximity to river bank and road.

"A very relaxing week"

Just returned from a very delightful cottage by a beautiful river. A modern designed cottage but with all the feeling of a traditional cosy cottage. I had wanted a get a way, kick back from my normal busy life holiday and that's what myself and my partner achieved. Furnishings and modern appliances also helped with what became a very relaxing time. Although the area has some great places to visit we were having such a great time in the cottage we didn't venture far from it. The family of ducks were also great neighbours. Also learnt a great trick to get rid of any wasps (always a plus) with a gift of fresh coffee, foil and matches, thank you Lesley.

Brilliant, really pleased you enjoyed yourselves, thanks for the great review. Malcolm

"Fabulous position,excellent accommodation;a real gem"

A beautiful house on the edge of a quiet river; you can watch the wild life as you relax on the patio or sit in the lounge..
Roomy open plan living area which is tastefully decorated and furnished.
Ideal base for exploring Lincolnshire; lots to visit nearby.

Thanks for the review. Really pleased you enjoyed the cottage. I think about 20 ducks enjoyed your visit as well, they are all camping in the garden!

"Exceptional location and a beautiful new cottage"

This property is in an excellent location - beautiful riverside views and set in a quite village. The cottage has all mod cons and everything is new and tastefully chosen. We spent lots of time watching the river, the ducks and the swans glide by. Lincoln and Boston are within easy reach if you can tear yourself away from the location.

Fantastic thanks, so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you really enjoyed your 'girls reunion'.
