Restore your spirits and relax in the peace and beauty of Bosa. Romantic, tranquil, stunningly beautiful, friendly, uplifting. The historic centre of Bosa is unique -- colourful houses line the narrow winding streets which lead up to a medieval castle on the top of the hill. The palm lined river Temo flows through the town to the sea. Mountains surround the town and the views from the terrace are fascinating, as the sun moves across the sky to set in the west over the sea in the evening. There are two smaller rental apartments also available on different floors in the same large house.

The Sardinia region
Sardinia is reputed to have 300 days of sunshine a year, and is renowned as one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. Bosa is an historic town in the midst of unspoilt countryside, set in a river valley on the northwest coast of the island, 40 km south of Alghero. Bosa itself is peaceful, with a traditional feel, but also contemporary. The people are friendly and welcoming. Sardinian identity and culture are strong here -- Bosa is not an overdeveloped tourist destination devoid of soul. There are gorgeous beaches along the nearby coast and many fascinating places of cultural and natural interest to be discovered by the discerning visitor.
Bosa / Bosa Centre area
There are over 30 restaurants in the area, and countless cafes, bars, shops. There are greengrocers, butchers, pasticcerias, bakeries, supermarkets... and home made ice cream sellers! There are festivals most months, but of special interest are Carnevale in February, Santa Maria del Mare in early August and Regnos Altos in early September. The countryside is sparsely populated, and every area is fiercely proud of its heritage and has a distinct identity of its own. Nearby is a village famous for its murals -- Tinnura. With a car it is possible to make day trips to many places of cultural, historic or natural interest.

Further details outdoors: There is a large terrace, reached through glass double doors from the kitchen/living room, which gets sun all day. It is possible to dine or sunbathe here, and the views over the town and surrounding area are fantastic.

There is an additional single bed space on a sleeping platform in the living room, enabling up to 7 people to stay in the apartment. This bed is a favourite with older childrenand teenagers! There are also two smaller self-contained apartments sleeping 2 - 4 people in the same building. These are on other floors and can be rented independently or in conjunction with The Penthouse. This is ideal for larger groups or extended families visiting together.

Deposit of 30% to secure booking, with balance to be paid within 8 weeks of start date of rental Returnable breakages and services deposit of £150 required First £10 of air conditioning and heating included. Additional costs to be paid for according to usage. Not suitable for people with mobility difficulties as the property is in the historic centre of the town, with uneven cobbled streets and cars must be parked several minutes walk away. Also the apartment has stairs.
