The house is a traditional 4 storey narrow house in "Sa Costa", the old part of Bosa which sits just below the medieval castle of Malaspina.

It has been lovingly restored to maintain a number of original features such as the stone barrel vaulted ceilings on the ground and first floor, but it has also been thoroughly modernised in particular with the addition of a roof terrace with great panoramic views over the whole town, the river, the surrounding hills and the sea.

The house, like all others in "Sa Costa", is built vertically, with one room per floor with a steep internal stairway. There are a couple of rooms that have been dug into the rock and which in old times were used for storage. The exposed stone ceiling on the ground and first floor is built in the typical barrel fashion and the stairs are the original stone steps, hence their worn characteristics.

The front door and the windows are rimmed by red trachyte, which is the typical rock of Bosa. The outside is painted light blue.

On the ground floor is the entrance with original stone stairs to the first floor, a large modern bathroom with a big shower and at the back a utility room with a washing machine, water heater and water tank (as water often is missing in the old town). The ceilings are original stone barrel vaulted.

On the first floor is the kitchen (with fridge/freezer, 4-hob gas cooker and oven) and a dining area. The ceilings here are also original stone barrel vaulted and the room is decorated with some antique furniture and traditional sardinian handicrafts (baskets etc). The kitchen is fully equipped (plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans etc). Stone stairs lead to the second floor.

On the second floor is an L-shaped room with a large comfortable sofa which can be converted to a double bed and another large modern bathroom with a shower and a storage cabinet for household items (hoover, ironing board, laundry basket, clothes horse). There is also a foldable child cot with mattress which can be placed in the room if needed. The room has a small wrought iron balcony with uninterrupted views over the roofs of Bosa and to the sea.

More stone stairs lead to the third floor where there is a landing and a large double bedroom, decorated with traditional Sardinian textiles and some antique furniture. There is a small wrought iron balcony with uninterrupted views to the sea and over the roofs of Bosa. Wooden stairs lead to the roof terrace.

The roof terrace is on the last floor of the house. There is a small kitchenette (fully equipped) with a 2-hob gas cooker, cupboards with plates/pans etc and a small fridge. Glass folding doors lead to the terrace, which has fantastic views over the town, the surrounding hills, the river Temo and the sea. The terrace is partially covered with traditional reed roofing. There is a large dining table with chairs, a charcoal bbq and towards the front of the terrace is a small wicker lounge set.
