Bron Graig is a 19th century mid terrace cottage situated in the small village of Penmorfa which is two miles from the historic harbour town of Porthmadog and sits on the boundary of the Snowdonia National Park.

Close by are the valleys of Cwm Pennant and Cwm Ystradllyn where you can walk, cycle or fish for trout in the Cwm Ystradllyn. Reservoir. The National Cycle Route 8 passes just behind the cottage.

Four miles away is the long sandy expanse of Black Rock beach or if you prefer, the secluded sandy coves at Borth y Gest.

Cricieth, with it's medieval castle and beautiful coast is just a five mile drive. Other castles at Caernarfon, Harlech and Conwy are all within easy driving distance.

Other attractions in the area include the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland narrow gauge railways in Porthmadog, the Italianate village of Portmeirion and pretty village of Beddgelert. The Osprey observation site in Nearby Prenteg attracts bird watching enthusiasts from March, when the birds arrive to breed from their migration in Africa until September when they leave again.

Snowdon, the highest peak in England and Wales, offers wonderful views on a fine day and can be scaled on foot via a number of different routes or by the train to the summit.

There are numerous lovely walks suitable for all abilities. These range from the flat sands of Black Rock to river walks and, for the more adventurous, the mountains of Snowdonia offer endless possibilities.

Accommodation offered at the cottage includes a well equipped kitchen/diner with fridge freezer, electric cooker and microwave. There is an open plan living room which has an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. A basket of logs is provided free with extra logs available at a small charge. The stove has a back boiler which can provide extra hot water if it is required. Other heating is by night storage heaters. Electricity is included.

A steep, narrow staircase leads to the upstairs where there are two bedrooms. One room has a king size bed and the other a double bed. Linen is provided and the beds are made up. A travel cot and high chair are also available. The bathroom has a bath with overhead electric shower. Towels can be provided on request for a small additional charge.

The utility area which houses the washing machine and barbecue has slate steps leading up to the secluded private garden.
