Bron Graig is a 19th century mid terrace cottage situated in the small village of Penmorfa which is two miles from the historic harbour town of Porthmadog and sits on the boundary of the Snowdonia National Park.
Close by are the valleys of Cwm Pennant and Cwm Ystradllyn where you can walk, cycle or fish for trout in the Cwm Ystradllyn. Reservoir. The National Cycle Route 8 passes just behind the cottage.
Four miles away is the long sandy expanse of Black Rock beach or if you prefer, the secluded sandy coves at Borth y Gest.
Cricieth, with it's medieval castle and beautiful coast is just a five mile drive. Other castles at Caernarfon, Harlech and Conwy are all within easy driving distance.
Other attractions in the area include the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland narrow gauge railways in Porthmadog, the Italianate village of Portmeirion and pretty village of Beddgelert. Snowdon, the highest peak in England and Wales, offers wonderful views on a fine day and can be scaled on foot via a number of different routes or by the train to the summit.
