About the home

Situated in the Award winning 4* Flora Apartment Complex this larger than average, double bedroom apartment is bright and modern. (Larger parties please ask as more apartments available).

It provides a fantastic summer or winter holiday home and is situated just 50m from the main Gondola ski lift.

Overlooking the pine forest this apartment ensures a peaceful nights sleep. It is is a larger than average apartmenet at 79.89 sq mtrs and it has been furnished and equipped to a high standard so that it is as much an enjoyable part of the holiday as the many activities available in Borovets. The apartment has two balconies, one off the bedroom and the other off the living room.

The entrance hall has a storage cupboard, coat hooks and shoe rack providing ample storage for coats, shoes bags etc. and there is a large storage area within the apartment for ski equipment suitcases etc. so that the main living areas are easy to keep tidy and uncluttered.

There's a fully equipped kitchen including a cooker, hob, coffee maker, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, bottle opener, glasses and a coffee machine.- in fact everything you could possibly need.

The living room (with door to balcony) has a three seater sofa bed, 2 armchairs, a bar with 4 bar stools, dining table and 4 chairs. It also has a Telephone that receives incoming calls, satellite TV, CD and DVD player with CDs and DVDs available for use by holidaymaker. (DVDs can also be hired from a local shop just 5 mins walk away ...or bring your own favourites)

The large double bedroom (with door to balcony) has a king sized bed, dressing table and bedside tables.

There is a modern bathroom with an over bath shower.

The apartment is very warm and has central heating,

Linen is provided (owels, t-towels, quilts, bedding etc) fresh linen is provided mid-week.

Restaurant offering traditional and international cuisine, Lobby bar and Irish pub, pool table, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Turkish bath, sauna, Jacuzzi. Darts, chess, games room, laundry facilities, underground car park, garden barbecue.

There is a mini supermarket and shop just outside next to the entrance to Flora

My agency, Snowdoves, have an office within Flora and theyare always available should you need them during your stay. They can also collect you from the airport on arrival and drop you back at the end of your holiday. (Prices on request)

Borovets is a perfect resort for families and groups of friends alike. A great winter ski resort, that also has a lot to offer the summer visitor, with green meadows, blue lakes and snow-capped peaks.

For nature-lovers there are many hiking routes in the Rila Mountains. There’s always the option of horse riding. Slightly further afield is the Rila Monastery (about 90 minutes), Bulgaria’s largest and most famous monastery. Or if you fancy a day of luxury in a natural spa resort then visit the town of Sapareva Banya, host to Europe’s hottest mineral water and the only active geyser in the Balkans.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Borovets is just 1.5 hrs from Sofia Airport. It is the oldest and most popular mountain resort in Bulgaria. The air in Borovets is clear and free of any pollutants and the climate is considered to be healthy. The winter in the resort is mild. Snow conditions are among the best in eastern Europe and continues well into April. 8 snow cannons are installed to guarantee the snow cover if needed.

The Borovets ski school has been known as one of the best in Bulgaria with over 200 ski instructors fluent in foreign languages. The lifts are just 70 meters from the apartment. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. Pistes are maintained to a high standard.

The Borovets area

Summer health break, famous for its pure mountain air Borovets makes an ideal health break. The resort is a starting point of many hiking routes through some of Europe’s most unspoiled mountain forests and meadows. If this sounds too energetic you can go fishing, play golf (20 mins away) go horse riding, visit the monastery or just relax by a lakeside. After a days activity enjoy a sauna/turkish bath or Jacuzzi followed by an hours massage for just £10. Or bathe in hot mineral springs (10mins away by taxi).

The resort has become very popular with skiers, who appreciate the good value, the lively entertainment and of course the good skiing.

In the evening the resort lights up with a variety of night-life, live music venues, bustling bars and nightclubs. A variety of cosy restaurants, cafes and pizzerias line the main street. Along with traditional folk nights and wine tasting evenings……..the choice is limitless!

Fly to Sofia Airport by using one of the various airlines such as Easy Jet, Whizz Air, British Airways and Bulgaria Air.

We can collect you from the airport (prices on request) or you can get a taxi or pre book on line using a company such as BulgarianTransport.com.

Alternatively you can get a bus from Sofia into Samokov and then another bus from Samokov into Borovets

Once in the village of Borovets a car is not needed as you can get around on foot very easily.

When we normally arrive home from holiday we are pleased to be home, with

"loads of space feeling" when we got home, as we had all the space we
needed in your wonderful apartment.

Rates start at just £28 per night in the summer (with 4 people sharing that's £8.90 per person a night) and £71 per night in the peak season (With 4 people sharing that's £17.85 per person per night).
