Situated in the Award winning 4* Flora Apartment Complex this large double bedroom apartment is bright and modern. (Larger parties please ask as more apartments available).

It provides a fantastic summer or winter holiday home and is situated just 50m from the main Gondola ski lift.

It has been furnished and equipped to a high standard so that it is as much an enjoyable part of the holiday as the many activities available in Borovets. The apartment has two balconies, one off the bedroom and the other off the living room, both with views of the pine forest.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Borovets is just 1.5 hrs from Sofia Airport. It is the oldest and most popular mountain resort in Bulgaria. The air in Borovets is clear and free of any pollutants and the climate is considered to be healthy. The winter in the resort is mild. Snow conditions are among the best in eastern Europe and continues well into April. 8 snow cannons are installed to guarantee the snow cover if needed.

The Borovets ski school has been known as one of the best in Bulgaria with over 200 ski instructors fluent in foreign languages. The lifts are just 70 meters from the apartment. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. Pistes are maintained to a high standard.

Summer health break, famous for its pure mountain air Borovets makes an ideal health break. The resort is a starting point of many hiking routes through some of Europe’s most unspoiled mountain forests and meadows. If this sounds too energetic you can go fishing, play golf (20 mins away) go horse riding, visit the monastery or just relax by a lakeside. After a days activity enjoy a sauna/turkish bath or Jacuzzi followed by an hours massage for just £10. Or bathe in hot mineral springs (10mins away by taxi).

The resort has become very popular with skiers, who appreciate the good value, the lively entertainment and of course the good skiing.

In the evening the resort lights up with a variety of night-life, live music venues, bustling bars and nightclubs. A variety of cosy restaurants, cafes and pizzerias line the main street. Along with traditional folk nights and wine tasting evenings……..the choice is limitless!

How to get there

EasyJet and Wizzair are offering cheap flights to Sofia airport. As flights during the week are often much cheaper I am happy to book midweek breaks as well as Sat to Sat.

I am able to arrange transfers to and from airport at very reasonable prices.

It has a fully equipped kitchen including a cooker, hob, coffee maker, iron - in fact everything you could possibly need and as well as satellite TV there's a CD and DVD player with CDs and DVDs available for use by holidaymaker.

A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. There are Pots and pans, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, bottle opener, glasses and a coffee machine. There is a modern bathroom with shower.

The living room has a three seater sofa bed, 2 armchairs, a bar with 4 bar stools and a dining table and 4 chairs. The double bedroom has a king sized bed, dressing table and wardrobes. There is a laundry facility on site and a telephone that receives incoming calls.

The apartment has central heating, linen is included (towels, t-towels, quilts, bedding etc) fresh linen is provided mid-week.There are CDs, DVDs and play station with games in the apartment but if you want more there's also a shop on the resort that rents out games and DVDs and you can, of course, bring some of yours.

Cots and Camper beds available at a £15 Supplement per week.

Borovets is a perfect resort for families and groups of friends alike. A great winter ski resort, that also has a lot to offer the summer visitor, with green meadows, blue lakes and snow-capped peaks.

For nature-lovers there are many hiking routes in the Rila Mountains. There’s always the option of horse riding. Slightly further afield is the Rila Monastery (about 90 minutes), Bulgaria’s largest and most famous monastery. Or if you fancy a day of luxury in a natural spa resort then visit the town of Sapareva Banya, host to Europe’s hottest mineral water and the only active geyser in the Balkans.

Guests get discounted rates on a wide variety of skiing packages and airport transfers.

I am able to organise various skiing/snowboarding/ski passes/ski equipment packages at very good rates. For example a complete skiing package that includes: Ski hire, lift pass and tuition for 6 days, 4hrs per day for just 215 euros or 156 euros for children (2-12yrs). I can also organise airport transfers at good rates.

what can I say ......Fantastic. We was so so pleased with your apartment, we only wish we had more time in the room to enjoy it. I can honestly say, It was a perfect holiday from start to finish....you should be very proud of yourself for providing such a wonderful apartment. Children were over the moon with games etc....we had to drag the youngest (4 YEARS OLD) as all he wanted to do was go back to the Room.
