Home description

This one bedroom apartment has a balcony which offers splendid views over the Rila Mountains. There is a double bedroom with double bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge area, a separate bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen with all that you require. All bedding and towels are provided for you stay with light daily maid service. The complex was only finished last year and has a lot to offer, including an indoor swimming pool, children's swimming pool, full gymnasium, massage centre, solarium, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, landscaped gardens, lift access to all apartments, onsite parking, on site security, café and bar to mention but a few.
The complex its self is built in the mountain so in the winter months you can ski down to the centre of Borovets as some of the ski slopes are adjoined to the complex, but in the summer months this is a fantastic spot to do walking from.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

The Rila Mountains are one of the most beautiful sites in Europe in both winter and summer and have a lot to offer form the skier to the walker. Bulgaria has the longest ski season in Europe in the winter in the resort looks like a picture of white clouds sitting on the mountain tops with temperatures going down to-17; perfect for all winter sports The slopes of the Borovets can be covered in snow from mid December right through until April. In the summer the temperature can rise to as high as 38c .The air in the Borovets is clear and free of any pollutants. Sofia the Capital is just 1hr away, offering you a wide selection of shops as well a long and colourful history .Visit the World Heritage Site of the Rila Monastery dating from 1335. This will give you a valuable insight into Bulgarian culture and traditions.

BOROVETS has a lot to offer in the night as well as the many night clubs, bars and discos there is a wide selection of local eating places including the only non smoking HUNTERS in the resort offering you to try some BULGARIAN local dishes.
Skiing: there are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, all well maintained to a high standard. The ski runs of Borovets are located just 20 meters away from our own ski school HUNTERS which can provide you with everything, there is a well organised lift system, inclusive Gondola lift. 8 snow cannons for artificial snow are installed to guarantee the snow cover if needed.

Back home from Borovets today and just wanted to let you know that the whole family were really pleased with the service we received through your company; we will certainly recommend to others. Transfers were excellent and the staff at the Balkan PMS office were very helpful. We will definitely be back next year and will book our lessons with you again as it was great to have an English speaking instructor. Steve our ski instructor for the week was first class he went out of his way to ensure that our lessons were tailored to suit the whole family and we really enjoyed every day skiing with him, he was excellent.
