Brand new studio apartment in the Flora complex located at the foothills of the Rila National Park, just 50 metres from the Gondola Station. On-site facilities include spa centre (including sauna, fitness centre and Jacuzzi), indoor swimming pool, restaurant offering traditional Bulgarian and international cuisine, ski wardrobes and shops.

The fully furnished apartment on the 6th floor has a balcony with views over the resort and ski slopes.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Borovets is best known as an international family friendly ski and snowboard resort. New runs, facilities and gondolas have been added as part of the 'Super Borovets' project. It's a great place to go in the summer too as the ski lifts take you to the very peak of the mountain tops for some of the best views in Europe.

Borovets area

Borovets offers 45 km of pistes varying in difficulty and length for skiing and snowboarding. There are ski runs for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, designed with international markings and multilingual signs. Several floodlit pistes also allow late night fun on the snow. The Boroverts ski school has more than 200 ski instructors fluent in foreign languages and some of them are former professional skiers.

Mountain lovers from all over Europe converge on the resort to partake in skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo, ice-skating and night-skiing.

Borovets also offers fantastic apres ski and night-life with its many bars, cafes, night clubs and discos. A night out is great value for money especially with special 'happy hour' discounts and a 3 course meal can be enjoyed for under £10.

How to get there

Return transfers can be arranged from Sofia airport (70 kilometers) and Plovdiv airport (120 kilometers).
Cheap flights available from London Gatwick to Sofia with Easyjet.
Flights also available with BA and WizzAir.

The complex has a range of shops as well as a beauty salon and medical centre. There is a restaurant offering traditional Bulgarian and International cuisine as well as a Lobby Bar and Irish pub. A games room offers darts and chess.

The apartment and Borovets in general were both lovely - far better than we could have imagined and we were also very lucky with the weather during our stay. We found the location of the room one of the best in the Flora and it was also excellent value.
