"Kozle" is a large comfortable chalet style house set amongst some of Europe's most stunning scenery. Surrounded by well tended gardens "Kozle" enjoys views over the forests,mountains and beyond.Some days only the odd goat herd and geese pass by, yet minutes away are the slopes of the international ski resort of Borovets offering fantastic skiing +snow boarding and all that a modern vibrant ski resort can offer. The summer months promise Mediterranean temperatures and hiking,walking, boating ,fishing, bird watching and sight seeing at the Rila Monastery, Sofia, the ancient Roman town of Plovdiv and much more. A trip on the gondolas to the mountain peaks in the summer is unbelievable! The Iskar lake is one of Europe's largest stretches of water and offers fishing,boating,walking and wonderful picnics. "Kozle" is a charismatic,friendly chalet set in its own grounds and is overlooked by nothing but stunning scenery. An artist's dream, particularly in the Autumn. Positioned at the head of a valley "Kozle" has a stream just outside of the fence which will guide you to the sleepy village centre a few minutes walk away.There you will find a couple of shops offering basic provisions , organic vedge' and two or three cafe bars where you will receive a warm welcome. The chalet is fully equipped to an extremely high standard."Kozle" exists to offer the very finest and comfortable accommodation.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region
Mediterranean climate with long hot summers and short cold winters. The capital Sofia (60km)is widely regarded as the 'new' Prague .Steeped in history the city is a mecca for shopping with every concievable designer shop represented offering that one can only dream of in the UK.There is a Cathedral& the Statue of Sofia, museums,restaurants, deli's and bars and rich cultural splendour at every turn. The Rila Monastery , magnificently perched high up in the Rila mountains is well worth visiting at only 1 1/2 hrs drive away. The old Roman town of Plovdiv offers monuments and ruins from the days of the Roman empire.Vinyards,and the incredible beauty of the Bulgarian lakes and countryside are all on your doorstep.
Borovets area
Borovets is of course best known for the international family friendly ski and snowboard resort. It's a lively but picturesque village style resort bustling with restaurants,bars and shops.New runs , facilities and gondolas have been added as part of the 'Super Borovets' project destined to land the resort with the 2014 winter Olympics. It's a great place to go in the summer too as the gondolas and ski lifts take you to the very peak of the mountain tops. You will not experience better views than these anywhere else in Europe. Samokov is the nearest town and has a number of excellent restaurants and the wonderful daily market selling fresh oganic locally produced fruit and vegetables.Every monday a huge market takes place drawing traders from all over the province and offers just about everything you could want in a market.The town is famed for its wood carving industry and hand fashioned copper ornaments. Designer brands are available at bargain prices in a number of shops and you will inevitably find less than legal but extrememly good designer clothing and watches as well! The Iskar lake just minutes down the road is one of the largest in Europe and is literally teeming with fish. You can hire boats , walk ,fish and picnic. There are rivers, lakes mountains all on the door step and if you turn left out of "Kozle's" garden gate then that's all there is for miles and miles! Hot Spa's are minutes away and golf courses rearby.Do as much or as little as you want.It's a holiday that offers what ever you want. The village of Dospei is quiet, friendly and charming. There are a couple of produce shops three bars and a restaurant just a five minute stroll from the chalet.

Cheap flights EASYJET, BRITISH AIRWAYS, www.Wizzair.com www.skyeurope.com . www.air.bg Car (www.drenikov.com www.bulgariacarrental.com www.carrentals.co.uk and many others.Try Google/Sofia car hire ),taxi or airport pickup and delivery to the chalet is available at small additional cost. Car is not necessary but an advantage.

Further details indoors: "Kozle" has a designer kitchen with large fridge freezer/full function cooker/microwave/coffee maker/electric juicer/washing machine.. , luxurious ,heated,Italian tiled master bathroom, large dining room, gorgeous lounge with log burning stove,two double bedrooms,one twin bedded room and sofa bed available.Electric oil fired radiator heating throughout ,some on timers and more than one per room~more than adequate for the most severe of winters .In addition there is a large balcony with views over the surrounding countryside and enclosed gardens with bar-b-queue and furniture.Overlooked by no other property,the chalet is at the end of a sleepy village track that meanders up into the mountain yet just a short stroll from the village centre shop and bars.
Further details outdoors: A tranquil setting.Large enclosed private gardens with lawns, fruit trees,vines,flower beds. A large paved patio area is bounded by the barn and outbuildings .Patio furniture is supplied. There are plenty of playing areas for children and the whole garden is secure behind fencing.BBQ.The barn has been used as a goal on more than one occaision and has a netball hoop in place! There is a stream on the opposite side of the track outside of the property .Plenty of parking spaces Overlooked by no other property. Quiet.Tranquil. A short stroll from the village centre or a minute or so if you use the mountain bikes!

PLEASE NOTE! The rental rate is for the house and not per person. We provide logs for the stove in the winter.Electricity , heating ,laundry change and chalet cleaning are all INCLUSIVE in the price. AIRPORT transfers to 'Kozle', taxi hire, a comprehensive list of ski & snowboard options and tuition are available at considerably less than the resort prices. In addition there are many organised tours and safari type packages available if required. We can email details of these to you if required. Trips to Plovdiv Roman town, the magnificent Rila Monastery, mountain biking,hunting, fishing,visits to wineries, hiking tours ................loads of ideas to keep the adventurer happy!
