Borovets is ideal for all winter sports enthusiasts with nursery slopes through to black runs within a 5 minute stroll from the apartment. Following a day on the slopes why not stroll through the town to sample the night life and varied cuisine in the countless family friendly restaurants, bars and clubs. For those wanting a summer retreat there are a wide range of activities including water sports, fishing, climbing and mountain hikes.

This very spacious apartment is fully furnished and equipped with one bedroom and sofa beds sleeping up to 6 people. It is ideal for families or large groups, boasting a large terrace if you wish to dine al fresco overlooking the forest in the summer. The Flora complex, rated 4 star was completed in December 2005 with extensive facilities including swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, Irish Bar, casino, Ski equipment storage and much more.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Borovets is the premier ski resort of the Balkans and caters well for all tastes and ages. Ideally located just 1 hour away from Sofia and its many attractions it offers picture postcard scenery with tradition and style. The climate is perfect for skiing and boarding in the winter months and balmy and warm in summer. Set in the heart of the Rila mountain range and home to the highest peak (Mousala) at 2925m there is much to enjoy and behold whatever your tastes.

The Borovets area

In the locality lies many attractions including the world famous Rila monastery founded in the 10th century set within a deep gorge it is a fascinating place to visit.

As mentioned before the capital Sofia is a mere 73 km away and boasts countless shops, restaurants, bars and some amazing nightlife all at a fraction of the cost of most capital cities.

The small town of Samokov is a 15 minute car journey with lots to do and see with a local market.

There are dozens of natural mineral springs in and around the area, a great way to cool off and enjoy the long hot summers.

Borovets is nestled within a vast forest nature reserve. There are activities available all year from typical winter pursuits including skiing, snowboarding and ski-dooing. In summer months mountain safari's, hiking, hunting, water-sports and fishing are just a few of the activities available.
