Apartment 107 is on the first floor of the Tulip residence. This is part of the brand new Flora 2 development which is due to be completed in time for the start of the 06/07 winter season. This luxury development comprises a further five apartment buildings in addition to the main Flora residence building. The apartment is in the South-east corner of Tulip so guests will be able to take in the morning sun as they survey the piste from the apartment’s two balconies. The apartment is centrally heated and fully furnished with everything you will need for your visit including bedding and full self catering facilities.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region

Borovets is nestled at the foot of the Rila mountain range at an altitude of 1350 metres. The resort was founded over 100 years ago by the Bulgarian Royal family who built a palace and hunting lodges there.

In winter the resort has much to offer skiers and snowboarders with 42km of pistes and 19km of cross country trails. The resort particularly caters for beginner and intermediate skiers with an internationally renowned ski school which has over 200 multilingual instructors. The resort also offers floodlit night skiing, skidoo excursions and bowling and there are also extensive indoor facilities available to guests in the Flora complex including ice skating, a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness centre, casino and games room. The Apres ski in the resort ranges from quiet family run restaurants to lively bars and nightclubs so a good night out can be had whatever your tastes.

In Summer Borovets is an ideal base to explore the extensive network of sign-posted hiking trails which crisscross the Rila national park including the Balkan peninsula’s highest peak Moussala 2925m. Fishing, horseriding and golf are also on offer and an excursion to the 14th century Rila monastery is not to be missed.

How to get there

British Airways and Wizzair fly direct to Sofia from the UK offering competitive fares. Many other airlines fly to Sofia indirectly from the UK. Cheap fares can be had from www.expedia.co.uk or www.travelocity.co.uk the resort of Borovets is a 1hr 15 tranfer from the airport. Transfers can easily be arranged through our local representatives for as little as £20 return.

Once in the resort a car is unnecessary as everything you might need is within walking or skiing distance. Transport to excursions further afield can also be easily and cheaply arranged.

25% of rental charge to be paid at time of booking.

Balance of rental will be due 8 weeks prior to start date of the holiday. There is a refundable deposit of £100, held against loss or damage. This is to be paid on arrival in the resort and will be refunded after your holiday.
