This studio apartment is located on the 6th floor of Semiramida Gardens, a five star hotel/apartment complex located in the Upper Borovets area. The complex has excellent facilities to help you relax after a hard day on the mountain, including a luxury Spa centre and treatment centre.
The apartment has stunning views of the forest and mountains all the way up to the Yastrebetz slopes, and it also enjoys all day sun. The apartment has modern furnishings including a double sofa bed, dining table and chairs, TV and DVD player, modern kitchen and bathroom, and plenty of storage space for all your snow equipment. With only a short walk to the Yastrebetz chairlift it is possible to beat the crowds and cut first tracks from the top of the gondola.

The Sofia/Rila Mountains region
The majestic Rila Mountains boast a marvellous array of landscapes, including 180 perennial lakes and streams and numerous mineral springs. At 2925 metres Mount Mousala, which towers above Borovets, is the highest peak in the country and is an excellent place for snow activities in the winter and for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding in the summer months.
Places of interest include the RiIa Monastery, Bulgaria's largest and most renowned monastery which is a Unesco World Heritage site. The largest lake, Lake Iskar, is only a short drive away and offers wakeboarding, water skiing, boat hire and other water activities.
Sofia, Bulgaria's bustling cosmopolitan capital and largest city is an hour away by car. Soaring onion domed churches, treasure filled museums, art galleries, leafy parks and evocative communist monuments jostle for your attention. Most of Sofia's sights are handily located in the compact city centre so you can see plenty in a day, although you wouldn't want to miss the massive, awe inspiring Aleksander Nevski Memorial Church.
Borovets / Semiramida Gardens area
At an altitude of 1350 metres, Borovets is situated in the pine forests of Mount Mousala in the beautiful Rila Mountain range. As a winter destination, Borovets offers not only great snow activities on 45km of piste, but exciting night-life, excellent restaurants and good shopping opportunities. During the summer months when temperatures can reach 40ºC, there are plenty of walks and mountain biking tracks for the outdoor enthusiast.
Semiramida Gardens is perfectly placed in the Rila Mountains to be close to all amenities, but also enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area. A ten minute drive away is the local town of Samokov which has modern supermarkets, a weekly market, excellent traditional restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
