The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region

The Bormes les Mimosas area

Bormes les Mimosas is a beautiful and picturesque medieval village set in the hills above the coast, and one of the villages certificated "best in bloom". Beautifully maintained, this village hangs on to this stunning coastline that runs from Hyères to the west and St Tropez to the east.
The old houses perched in the hillsides covered in pink tiles and flowering balconies, run up the little streets to the ruins of the Château…
This is also the private domaine of Gaou Bénat with panoramic view of the Iles d’Or and the Mediterranean sea.
With the beaches of La Favière, Estagnol…one is spoilt with the beauty of this stunning area of France.

Hyères. 20 km. Attractive seaside resort with walled and medieval centre, once the favourite summer resort of celebrities, some of the intellectual elite and the rich. The town and its peninsula have almost 40 km of pristine sand beaches and rocky inlets to offer.
Gassin. 35 km. Beautiful hilltop village with a maze of winding streets and ancient houses, overlooking vineyards, woods and the gulf of St Tropez.
Iles d'Hyères. 40 km. Group of islands off the coast from Hyères, which includes the islands of Porquerolles, Le Levant and Port Cros (National Park). The 3 car-free islands together form a rare and beautiful environment, one of the loveliest in France. Boat crossings from Hyères, Giens peninsula, Le Lavandou, Toulon.

Kiddy Park, Hyères. 20 km. Theme park. 3 hectares of fun dedicated to 2 to 12 yrs old, situated 500m from Hyères harbour. Merry-go-rounds, slides, animals, bouncy castles, games, go-karts, trampolines, ball pool, etc...
Niagara, La Môle. 20 km. Waterpark. Situated on the side of a hill, amidst oak trees, this waterpark includes 7 giant waterslides, several swimming pools, a fitness area and a climbing wall. A paradise for the children and for the grown-ups alike who will also enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi.

St Tropez. 40 km. Authentic fishing village but also trendy and glamorous seaside resort and favourite holiday spot for the rich and famous. Fantastic night life, exquisite restaurants, chic boutiques, delightful old quarters, glorious beaches including the famous 5 km-long Plage de Pampelonne.
Ste Maxime. 40 km. Fashionable and elegant seaside resort with old cobbled streets, designer boutiques, excellent restaurants, colourful port and a choice of beautiful sandy beaches. Boats across the bay to St Tropez.
Sanary sur Mer. 50 km. Delightful seaside resort with picturesque quay, colourful houses, lively streets and terraces shaded by palm trees. Beautiful views from its 16th century Chapel Notre Dame de Pitié, over the coast and the small islands that lie offshore.
