The detached villa comfortably sleeps six guests and is the perfect place for a family or couples who want to enjoy the scenic delights and activities available in Hourtin!

The property is modern and stylishly furnished with tiled floors, and all the necessary facilities to enjoy a carefree holiday away. The villa has a wonderful furnished terrace; with a pergola and barbecue so guests can enjoy the balmy summer evenings dining outdoors!

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Gironde region

In addition to forest, lake and sea Hourtin is situated in the heart of the Medoc and only a short drive from the high quality wine (Grands Crus) producing areas of: Pauillac, Margaux and Saint-Estèphe.

For those who may wish to explore the region a little more we recommend the Dune de Pyla – the highest sand dune in Europe with spectacular views of the Bassin d'Arcachon, the massive water park Aqualand or a visit to Museum of Fine Arts (founded by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1801) in the great and historic city of Bordeaux.

The Bordeaux / Hourtin area

Hourtin is small town situated in the heart of Medoc between a pine forest, the largest natural lake in France and the Atlantic Ocean.

Hourtin is both a residential area and a holiday resort and is especially suitable for families thanks to a wide range of outdoor activities.

Hourtin Bourg is the village with an open air market three days a week.

Hourtin Port is the lakeside resort with a marina on one side with a wide range of bars and cafes, and a lakeside sandy beach on the other. There is also a ‘Children’s Island’ in the lake with a range of children’s play activities.

Hourtin Plage is the beach side resort with a large wide sandy beach and a beautifully clean sea with waves suitable for both the amateur and professional surfer.

Families can ride together on cycle paths, away from the roads, in peace and safety.
