I arrive a little earlier than i planned but it was ok the caretaker came and got me from the jetty port. Arrived at the hose none of the Tricycles will travel up the hill to steep so walked up to the house not a bad walk carry flashlight at night. Master bedroom bathroom not open locked with stored items from the owner not really a master bedroom without the bathroom. The Screen door to balcony was broken and off track when opened and the blinders in room installed backwards so does not function as intended T.V. yes but no reception so may as well not be there no cable or satellite far from beach and all the drivers wanna charge more because i was foreigner to take me into town no way to really walk to beach and getting ride down the hill after midnight to go to beach party can be a long wait. the shower no hot water and shower head keep falling off and bathrooms are very slippery and dangerous after u shower no shower curtain or anything to contain the water from going all over the place and no one really to complain to even though i rented the whole house for the week at 1200 AUS dollars two bedrooms remained locked to me because only me and 1 friend stayed there so did not invite friends over for party. and brown out no back up generator so pretty much its a just deal with it attitude from the caretaker overall i would not recommend this property for any traveler we go to Boracay for Beach and relaxation but that is not what you will find at this overpriced house no luxuries and no one to complain to when things don't work. Just book early for your trip to Boracay get a hotel even if you need to buy 2 or 3 separate rooms you will not regret the extra money for wifi and cable tv to relax and unwind. Response: Thank you so much Mike for the feedback. The house was advertised with just 3 bathrooms. I'm not aware of any faults inside the house, i will be dealing with these things with my the caretaker. You should have asked the care-taker to unlock the doors of the other bedrooms even there are no other people. There are 2 bathrooms with cold & hot shower - not aware of being faulty - it will be fixed now. An island will be installed to avoid being slippery & dangerous. I have provided my brother"s mob phone for the guest main contact while in Boracay. A cable will be installed and a bigger tv will be provided shortly. I have mentioned that the location is about 15 min wak to the beach. Lastly, the rate of A$1200 was for 4 bedrooms for a week, if only 2 bedrooms were booked it was only for A$A750. Oh by the way, previous guests has asked the care-taker for them to arrange tricycles when they go home late at night. Thanks |
Guestbook for Private house
I have been trying to obtain more reviews for my property, so far received only one and it's purely negative. Please don't take this into consideration when choosing my property, issues raised has been dealt with & rectified, a cable for tv will be installed shortly.
Local contact number has been always provided to all guests, the care-taker who stays on-site and the contact number of my brother who manage my property. I can also be contacted through my mob and email me if required. It is essential to inform the care-taker if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often and sometimes imposiible to resolved difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified.
I will try to obtain more reviews so you will know also the good side of my property and not only the bad experience of a one person.
Cheers
Elizabeth, the owner
The house is complete from kitchen wear, linen facilities, manchester & bathroom necessities. having 2 bathrooms/toilets available was very ideal. The place is very spacious, great for families and even a group of teens who just want to be together. It was great having a balcony terrace and overlooking the ocean. It was just a reminder for us that we were in Boracay.
The only downside is that it isn't very accessible to disabled individuals.
PS: Bert, the caretaker was very good to us and very helpful & easy to get along with.
