We are ONLY 2 minutes drive from the centre of the friendly village Boquete. Which is one of the 4th best places on earth. The climate is here year-around cozy and fresh, also known as the eternal spring.
It has lots of excellent restaurants to choose from. You can walk around the valley and the gardens of Boquete. Around the villa are several short and longer trails with splendid views. More exciting activities are; Hot Springs, swimming, horse-back riding, ATV-tours, River Rafting and Tree-Trek.

The Chiriqui region
He province of Chiriqui is located at the west of the Republic of Panama having like limits, to the north the province of Bocas del Toro and the Ngobe Bugle Reserve, to the west the Republic of Costa Rica, to the east the province of Veraguas and to the south the Pacific Ocean.
It has a surface of 6.476,2 km2, with a population of 368.790 inhabitants (2000) who occupy 87.509 houses. Politically it is divided in 13 districts: Alanje, Barú, Boquerón, Boquete, Bugaba, David, Dolega, Gualaca, Remedios, Renacimiento, San Lorenzo, San Felix and Tolé.
Chiriquí was populated, until the arrival of the Spanish, by different indigenous tribes (changuinas, zurias, boquerones, buricas, doraces, bugabas and gualacas) grouped under the generic name of guaymíes.
Its discovery attributes to the Spanish Gaspar de Espinosa, in 1519, being created the province the 26 of May of 1849, during the time at which Panama comprised of Colombia.
Its economy is based mainly on the agricultural and cattle production, being the main food suppliers for the rest of the Republic. The tourism is beginning to take his first steps in the province that counts on sufficient attractive like becoming, in just a short time, in a destiny asked for by the national and international travellers.
Boquete area
Boquete is an attractive region (district) located in the high lands of the Chiriqui province. More exactly, a charming valley shared by several sites of tourist interest like the Boquete town, the Bajo (Low) Boquete, Caldera and Palmira. The slopes of the mountains that surround this beautiful valley are covered with plantations of coffee and flowers, two of the most important products of the region.
The limits of the Boquete district are, to then north, the Bocas del Toro province, to the west the Bugaba and Dolega districts, to the south the Dolega and David districts and to the east the Gualaca district. It comprises the villages of Alto Boquete, Bajo Boquete, Caldera, Jaramillo, Los Naranjos and Palmira.
On a surface of 514 km2 live a population of approximately 17,000 inhabitants and it is located between an approximated height 300 (south) and 3,000 (north) meters over the level of the sea, depending on the sector.
The average temperature is 20º centigrade all the year, with two types of climate: tempered very humid of the highs, with many rain during the whole year (over 60 milimeters), and humid tropical.
The district is located at 40 kilometers of the city of David, 480 kms of the city of Panama and 400 kms of the city .
Driving there are only forty kilometers from the Interamerican Highway (turn to the left on the signs if you are travelling from Costa Rica, Paso Canoas or David, or to the right if you are travelling from Panama City) that pass between landscapes of great scenic beauty causing that the time happens almost without realizing.
Founded on April 11, 1911, Boquete initially was populated by inhabitants of other adjacent districts, to which added Swiss, Yugoslav, Swedish, German and North Americans inmigrants. Their property, farms and houses keep the styles of architecture of those regions of Central Europe.
