This villa is equipped with three bedrooms. There is a double bedroom downstairs with french doors opening onto its own terrace and access to the main living area of the house. Upstairs there is another double room and a twin room with two single beds. Each room has ample wardrobe space.

The living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa, TV and stereo system, as well as dining facilities for the occupants. There is a mezzanine level above the living area, giving is an airy, spacious, feel.

The kitchen is well equipped with pretty much everything that you will need; oven, microwave, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and all the crockery and utensils that you’ll need for six people.

Further details outdoors

The garden is absolutely beautiful. A self confessed flower lover, the owner obviously puts time, effort and love into maintaining a garden that even when I visited at the end of October, was still spilling over with flowers.

There is also a private pool which is a good size at 5m X 10m, with all the necessary outside furniture (eg sun loungers, table and chairs, BBQ etc)

Further details

The owner ensures that the end of stay cleaning is taken care of and there is a 50 euro charge for this, payable locally.

Towels and bed linen are all included in the rental price

The owner asks for a damage deposit of 500 euros which is returned to you, minus the cost of any breakages, at the end of the stay. The owner is happy to accept a cheque in £ sterling or euros.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region

The village of Bonnieux has a rich and varied history and is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Luberon.

Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 15 minutes away.

There's loads to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence.

If activity is your thing, this area is perfect for climbing, cycling, mountain biking, trekking, golf, tennis and swimming.

Bonnieux

In summer the village is really popular and therefore has some great restaurants and cafés. Although not very big, it has some useful and interesting shops, including bakers, butchers, grocery, pharmacy, post office and tourist information centre. There's also a local market on a Friday.

The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Maubec) on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments!

"Lovely Bonnieux Villa"

We had a lovely stay at Villa Fleurie in May. The owner could not have been nicer, and the villa itself was a pleasure to stay in. It is well equipped and set in a lovely location not far from Bonni… More
