The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
On the Mediterranean, this is the Golden Coast (Costa Dorada). It extends from Barcelona to the Ebro Delta and is famous for its sandy beaches, its seaside resorts, ( Cambrils, 6 kms, Salou, 14 kms) and its theme park - Spain's Disney Land - Port Aventura ( 18 kms).
The Costa Daurada also supports some great Golf courses as well as fishing on the magnificent River Ebro. The climate is mild, with temperatures high in summer but never too high!
