I'm a Sydney local and I love talking about my city and suggesting what to see and do during your stay but I am equally happy to offer peace and quiet.
I am neat, tidy and respectful to others and hope to find same qualities with my guests.
I can give you the insiders' guide to the neighbourhood: where to eat, where not to eat, who serves the best coffee, where to buy your things.
Sydney is an exciting and vibrant city with much to savour and explore.
The bus to the city takes about
30 minutes to arrive at both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. I'm happy to discuss your travel plans and point you in the right direction so that your visit is memorable and fun.
I have collected brochures with areas of interest for you.Bondi is truly one of the best places to live in the world. I am located just 10 seconds from the the beach, where you can enjoy strolling, surfing, paddle boarding or just relaxing.
Bondi is full of wonderful cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars so you'll never be bored!
The locals are really friendly, and I can recommend good bars and restaurants to go to, so even if you're travelling alone you'll have a great time.
The local farmers markets on Saturday are where you can get a good breakfast and pick up some supplies, as are the bric-a-brac markets on Sundays where you can pick up clothing by local fashion designers, jewellery and even art and photography of the famous Bondi Beach.
There are loads of local fashion stores, art & photography galleries plus hair dressers, manicurists etc in the area.
There is specialist deli/green grocer just around the corner.
Many residents of Bondi Beach never leave "the bubble"... because everything you need is right here!
Bondi has come a long way in the past couple of years, from a haven for tourists that enjoy a nice view and surfies who like to ride a decent wave, to a metropolitan hotspot with great restaurants, bars and café's. We even have a Messina Gelato within a short walk from the house! In case you're unfamiliar with Messina, they most recently won the gold crown in the Gelato World Tour.
There is so much to do and see and I am more than happy to supply suggestions to my visiting guests!
Recycling and living consciously aware of leaving as small a footprint on this planet is my aim.
This is a friendly easy come easy go kind of a house. The kitchen and all in it is shared so you are welcome to cook or share in any food that is going. It's so excellent when people treat the space as their own .
Sorry - no smoking please inside and no additional visitors without prior discussion.
No groups of friends over for parties - ie. no backpacker vibe please, this is a residential area in North Bondi.
Please don't leave the windows or doors open if you go out.
Please do not leave the key on the premises/in the letterbox/under the mat, etc as the property needs to remain secure.

Bondi is the heart of Sydney's Eastern suburbs that feature stunning seaside scenery and most exclusive real estate.
Located within 1 minute from Public Transport. Most buses if not all head to Bondi Junction, in the opposite direction is the fabulous Watson's Bay overlooking Sydney harbour!
Bondi is the main hub for buses and trains in the Eastern Suburbs.
From the airport you can catch a taxi for approximately $50 or there is a shuttle bus for $20 which will drop you to the door - you can call and book after you land ( just ask me for the number if you are keen).
Or you can jump on a train to Central Station. Platform 25 at Central will take you to Bondi Junction and then a you will need either the 380 or the 333 to Bondi Beach.
Note: you will need a prepaid ticket before you ride on the 333. You can buy these at most convenience stores or the ticket vending machine in Bondi Junction.
Jump off the bus at the bus terminus at North Bondi shops and within 1 minute you will be at the door!
When getting out of Bondi the bus from North Bondi, is the first stop so you are assured of always getting the seat of your choice - the bus can get very busy at the end of a hot summers day.
It's about a 15 minute bus ride to Bondi Junction which is a large shopping centre with mall. You can catch the train on the Eastern Suburbs line to the city, Central railway or the Blue Mountains.
There is a ferry to the Opera house which is a 15 minute walk from the door.
Parking in Ramsgate ave (home) has 1 hours free parking or there could be a space in the visitors car port.
One street away you will find free 2 hour parking and further still free all day parking. However being right at the beach there is only paid parking about $7 an hour.
There are many taxi's, they all have meters and are easy to hail off the street. Go Get cars are another option as is Uber.
The New South Wales region
Bondi is the heart of Sydney's Eastern suburbs - that feature stunning seaside scenery and the most expensive real estate.
It is also a very relaxed and cosmopolitan area of Sydney. Beachside parks, coastal walks with the best of Sydney's restaurants and cafes, shopping, markets and surfing, Bondi has it all, and only 5 km from Sydney city.
Friendly village atmosphere, great neighborhood and close proximity to the city make Bondi a very desirable location.
Ferries from Rosebay (5 min) to Sydney & Darling harbour.
20m from buses to Bondi Junction, the harbour & train station with a further 10 min to Central Station - the gateway to the stunning Blue Mountains, Central and South Coasts.
Bondi is 5km from the city centre: Darling Harbor, Rocks, Opera House and ferry to Manly, Taronga Zoo and Northern Beaches.

we enjoyed our stay with Zoe, the room had a great view and the bed was very comfortable. Our stay was to visit family in Sydney which we really enjoyed. The location is great as it's just minute… More
They were great guests to have - good sense of humour and very considerate. I enjoyed meeting them both.
