The virgin white snows of the Cerdagne and Capcir areas offer a number of vast, bright, unspoilt locations just perfect for snowshoeing under the Mediterranean skies, including quiet forests, frozen lakes, panoramic peaks, cocooned and snow-filled valleys and hollows or peaceful hilltops

Mont-Louis with its fortifications still intact, and its amazing solar furnace. La Cerdagne with its political and religious history, not forgetting Saint-Martin-du-Canigou, Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa, Villefranche-de-Conflent and Llivia (a Spanish enclave on French soil)

From Toulouse: take the A64 in the direction of Montpellier Barcelona followed by Foix / Andorra and then the N20 as far as the Le Puymorens tunnel. After the Le Puymorens tunnel, head towards Bourg Madame until you reach Ur then take the D618 to Font-Romeu / "Centre Ville" (town centre). In the town centre, head towards Mont-Louis / Perpignan until you reach Pyrénées 2000.
From Perpignan: take the RN116 via Prades / Andorra until you reach the Mont-Louis exit and then head towards Font-Romeu via the D618 until you reach Pyrénées 2000.
