Our apartment is a perfect set of high-tech, sustainable architecture and historical memory.
It is located in a beautiful historic building and it has been renovated using only eco-friendly materials, respecting the building that contains it and its history and using innovative architectural and design solutions that improve it and make it unique. The entire house is furnished with design solutions that are combined with original features of the building and it's characterized by the last generation of home automation.
The apartment, with a high ceiling and lit by natural lighting entering from two large windows and, when it's dark, by an innovating LED lighting, is composed, on the ground floor, of an open space and a small, modern and functional kitchen equipped with everything you need for cooking and eating.
Upstairs there are: the bedroom, with a comfortable latex mattress, a walk-in closet and a bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor there is a sofa that can became a double bed, depending on your needs.
The floor is heated and, in the dark, thanks to a special fluorescent resin, it gives a beautiful lighting effect to the apartment, effect that is going to ease up gently.
Our guests will also find a map of the city, books and brochures about the attractions of Bologna and the events going on in town, clean linens, soaps and hair dryers. We also provide products for breakfast, strictly organic and / or from Fair Trade.
We live just a few meters away from the apartment, so we are readily available in case of need. We believe in the importance of a warm and friendly welcome, we do our best to supply it to our guests, and we are always happy to give them tips and advices to discover and enjoy a wonderful city like Bologna.
The apartment is located in the heart of city center, in the University area. The neighborhood is home to the prestigious Teatro Verdi, the Academy of Arts, the botanical garden, some of the most important museums of the city, the international bookshop and a lot of cafè, restaurants and pizzerias.
Nearby there is the characteristic former jewish ghetto, the Montagnola Park, a really nice green space, and, every friday and saturday, the Montagnola market.
You don't need a car to visit Bologna, you can enjoy it walking around in the streets and under the arcades, but, if you come by car, you can park it in a very close attended car park.
The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the Two Towers and 15-minute walk from the Central Train Station. It is also well served by buses to the trade fair area, the airport and any other destination.
From Bologna is possible to do a one-day trip by train or by car to the most beautiful italian cities, as Florence (35 minuts by train), Venice (one hour and a half), Milan (one hour), Ferrara (20 minuts), Reggio Emilia, the land of parmisan (half an hour). You can also get to the sea, to the typical Riviera Romagnola, in a hour by train.
