La Rabassière means ''The Truffle Grove'', as part of the park was planted with truffle-yielding trees.

The area of soft hills grows vine, fruit orchards and lavander. It is also the main area foir truffle procduction in France, and possibly in Europe.

Fresh food products are found on the local markets which are extremely lively: Orange, Pont St Esprit, Sainte Cécile-les-Vignes.

This rich gastronomy will pleasantly complement the local world famous wines: Gigondas, Beaume de Venise, Rasteu, Cairanne, etc.

In summer, most wine producing villages fetch some kind of tasting fêtes.
