Villa Miramar is a very pretty property located in Boliqueime, with a large private swimming pool overlooking the ocean and the surrounding area. Great privacy, unoverlooked area, great house with excellent sun exposure great for relaxing and for sunbathing. Has a 1st floor with a balcony facing south and table and chairs for eating all fresco and enjoy the sea view. Also in the backside of the property there is a barbecue area and a dining area. There is a restaurant at walking distance and a short drive from local area with all the amenities in Boliqueime.

The Algarve region
Algarve is just perfect for a relaxing and fun holiday. With a long beautiful coast with beaches of fine sand and transparent water in the east and with high rocks and cliffs, exotic vegetation in the west side. Almost a full year of sun, several choice of golf courses, being a attraction for players all over the world. The marinas are offering great activities like boat trips around the coast, dolphin watching and fishing. Sailing and deep fishing are a delight for those who like to enjoy sealife. Countryside is worth a look with beautiful mountains, great views and tasty food. Morning markets, flea markets and gypsy markets are a visit card for people that love the fresh food and look for the specialities of the Algarve. So much to discover, it is great to live in the Algarve!
Boliqueime area
Boliqueime is a local village know by its beautiful mountains, great views from the hills, fresh air. Very wealthy place, from the property has walking distance to a great restaurant "Van Gogh" serving the local food and many good restaurants in Boliqueime area, snack bars, pastry shops, pharmacies, banks.
Another of the attractions of the Algarve are the local markets, flea markets and gypsy markets where you will find beautiful souvenirs from the local area like baskets, pots and handicrafs objects.
Local markets: In Boliqueime - last Thursday of the month, in Quarteira - every Wednesday of the week, in Loulé - every Saturday morning, in Almancil - 1st and 4th Sunday of the month.
Flea markets: in Almancil, 2nd Sunday of the month.
Popular São João fair in Boliqueime is celebrated in the weekend near the 24th of June each year: with handicraft, folklore, music, local food from the Algarve that attracts many visitors all over the Algarve.
The biggest disco in the Algarve, "Kadoc Disco and Kadoc Clube" very popular for the great parties with international djs, sexy and irreverent dancers, these is one the famous spots to look for in a holiday in the Algarve, just 5 minutes drive from the property.
The Atlantico Park and Aquashow are two great water parks. Atlantico is located in the road that goes to Loulé and Aquashow in 4 Estradas direction Quarteira. Both are at a short drive from home, aproximately 7 / 10 minutes.
Vilamoura is near Boliqueime, in about 7 / 10 minutes drive you will find the famous world class golf courses, minigolf, the popular Marina of Vilamoura, Lusomundo Cinema (films in english), bowling and the gorgeous beaches of the Marina and Praia da Falésia. The Marina of Vilamoura has fantastic boats, international restaurants, shops, bars like Figo's Bar "7", "El Salero", "Irish Pub" and "In bar" (with Sky sports, large screens, live music, karaoke).
If you like sailing, you must try the boat trips from the cruises, departing from the Marina: with many attractions like the amazing coast, fish of the shark, conger and reef, dolphin's watching, grottes tour (some of these cruises have a barbecue or champagne option). A trip in a hot air ballon also can be booked in the marina.
Beaches of Vilamoura have blue flag, with life guards protection, there are restaurants and coofee in here. Great activities like snorkelling and deep sea fishing, jet skys, water-skiing, parasailing, banana ride, bullet ride, ringo ride, pedaloes and much more. Horse riding, shooting camp, tennis and squash courts are available nearby.
Bikes can be rent if you like to cycle in the Megasport shop.
Nightlife of Vilamoura is great with the Casino and the BlackJack disco, with great shows, tematic parties like Ladies Night at Thursday are bringing more and more beautiful and famous people in here.
If you like to race in a karting car with your friends and family there is a go-karting track at Almancil.
Algarve Shopping is considered the biggest commercial centre in the Algarve, its complex offers a wide range of shops, an hypermarket, 9 cinema screens (films in english), ten-pin bowling, fast food like KFC, Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut.

Further details indoors: Villa Miramar has 2 bedrooms with single beds in the ground floor, both facing south with sea view and direct access to the pool. They have fitted wardrobes, electric heating and fans. The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds (one en-suite), one is facing east and another facing south with access to the balcony with sea view.
There are 2 complete bathrooms and 1 separate WC. Kitchen is fully equipped. Living room has dining area and access to the comfortable lounge overlooking the ocean. Books and cards are available for your leisure.
Further details outdoors: There is a safe access to the property through a gate, parking available for your car inside. In the front side of the property there is a beautiful garden with fruit trees facing south. Beach chairs are available great for resting, relaxing and for sunbathing close to the pool and enjoy the great panoramic views. Please bring your own pool / beach towels. A roof terrace is available with dining table and chairs in the ground floor in the front side of the property near the entry. Backside of the property is spacious, private and has a barbecue and dining area as well. Enjoy the great views of the Algarve coastline from Villa Miramar.

- Price reduction of 40,50 Euros per person, per week. For 7, 5 and 3 persons.
- Price reduction of 81 Euros for each 2 persons, per week. Also for 2 persons.
*Prices in New Year and Christmas weeks, Easter, July, August are the same for 8 until 2 persons.
- Minimum period stay is 7 days.
- Changeoverday: Saturday or Sunday from July until 1 / 15 September. Flexible from 16 / 30 September until June.
- Arrival hour is any time from 3.00 pm and departure hour is before 10.00 am (this is to allow time to clean and prepare the villa for next arrival).
- 40% deposit required for booking the property (not refundable). Balance is a deposit of 60%, to be paid six weeks before your arrival. Payment in Euros.
- Security cheque of 500€ or 350£ is required for security of the equipment of the Villa. This must be paid on arrival in cheque and will be refunded on departure providing no damage occured.
Cancellation: The booking deposit cannot be refunded. The balance will be refunded if cancellation is made 5 weeks before your arrival.

We all loved Villa Miramar. While there were only 5 of us, it would easily fit 8 people. It is so spacious and the views from the balcony are amazing. It was so nice to have breakfast outside overlooking that view. The pool was also a great advantage and you are not overlooked by anyone else so you have complete privacy. I could definitely see a family staying there and being very comfortable. There is even a high chair for children! It is a bit dated but once you let in the light and fresh air, you forget that it is an old villa. And the price was great too! The restaurant close by (Van gogh) has really tasty food, we would definitely recommend it to anyone and the staff are so friendly and helpful. You would definitely need a car to get to the villa but its also a great way of seeing the area and getting to the beaches etc. The villa is situated not a far drive from the beaches, the nightlife(although was very quiet in May!), shopping centres etc. Even though it's not a modern villa, all in all i would recommend this for good value for money.

"We enjoyed Villa Miramar so much we have booked for 2008. The Villa was lovely, the view from the balcony was fantastic so much to see. The pool was fabulous we used it a lot and the area round the pool was very spacious and it was very private not overlooked,and everywhere very clean and tidy. You do need a car but the villa is situated in such a good position you are not far from the sea, shops and there are a few local restaurants which we tried and we found them very friendly.
There was only the two of us although it sleeps eight we found it very warm and inviting, we would highly recommend it, for couples or families."
