Home description
Neslted in the hills and only five minutes from Vilamoura this beautiful farmhouse is welcoming and comfortable. Almond Tree House can comfortable accommodate 6 people making their stay enjoyable and memorable.
It has a large well equipped open plan rustic kitchen with all the amenities as well as the sitting room with satellite TV and video and the outside private terrace with seating and bbq for your al fresco experience.
All the bedrooms have cane ceilings, wooden floors and feel warm and homely.
Master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe with en suite bathroom and air conditioning. Two other bedrooms share a shower room and have comfortable twin beds in each room as well as air conditioning so useful during hot Portuguese nights.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

In summer the temperature is between 22 to 32 ºC and in winter between 15 to 20 ºC.
Faro is the gateway to The Algarve the Portuguese south coast . This sunny coast is renowned for its impressive cliffs and for the picturesque small bays with inviting sandy beaches. The sky is always blue, the sun always shining brightly.
The Algarve has 100 miles of perfect beaches and over 3,100 hours a year of sunshine and is without a doubt Portugal's most popular holiday region.
Well-known resorts on this coast include Albufeira often described as the St. Tropez of the Algarve, Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago, Praia da Rocha, Lagos and Portimao are what makes the Algarve so special.
Boliqueime area
The village of Boliqueime is just 5.7km away, where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
For a much larger selection of amenities, including various sporting activities and golf, the popular resort of Vilamoura is 13.7kms away. Vilamoura boasts a fabulous marina and the golden sandy beach of Praia da Falesia.
How to get there
Faro Airport is the nearest airport and has many new schedule and budget airlines flying there now.
Easy Jet, Monarch, British Airways, Thomsonfly, are just some of the many. If you order a car before your holiday you can have it waiting for you at the airport on arrival, and then follow our easy instructions to the villa.
Lisbon airport is around two and half hours away by car and Seville is another alternative also around 2hrs away by car.
If you ask we are happy to recommend a local car hire company who are very helpful and reliable, and who have excellent rates.

Further details indoors: The comfortable sitting room has satellite TV and a selection of children's and family videos and for the winter months a wood burning fire.
There are three bedrooms with wooden floors, each of which has a beautiful view over the garden and pool area and surrounding countryside. The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom and the other bedrooms has two comfy beds and share a shower room with WC.
Almond Tree is set in a lovely garden which it shares with Carob Cottage (1 bed), and the Bake House (2 bed)
Further details outdoors: The pool has a children's slide and can be floodlit at night.
Its own barbeque and a large wooden table and benches for outside dining for up to 12 people should you book all three houses. Almond Tree, Bake House and Carob Cottage.

Booking conditions A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental is payable on confirmation of booking.
Telephone bookings will be held for 4 days until written confirmation is received together with a deposit. The balance of the rental is payable 8 weeks prior to departure and is non returnable.
Please make sure you are properly insured should you have to cancel your holiday. Payment in full is requested for bookings made less than 10 weeks from departure.
Conditions
Prices are quoted per week and include cleaning, electricity and welcome pack of drinks as well as sheets and towels (except beach towels).
There is also a washing machine & ironing facilities.
Air conditioning is optional and it and carries an extra charge.
