The Algarve region
The nearby beaches of the central Algarve are approximately 15 minutes drive away, the nearest being Falesia and Olhos d'agua. The wilder beaches of the West Coast of Portugal, suitable for surfing, are just a 50 minute drive away, as are those on the Spanish Algarve.
Boliqueime / Alfontes area
The largest market town on the Algarve, Loule, is just 10km from Casa Meme, Algarve Shopping Centre approx. 15 minutes and Faro Town around 30 minutes. It takes around five minutes to drive to the EN125 and 3 minutes to the nearest portal to the A22 (IP1) Junction 11. There are a number of international and Portuguese restaurants within a short distance of Casa Meme. The pretty nearby village of Boliqueime has banking facilities, pharmacy, numerous shops and bars as has the market town of Loule.
How to get there
Faro International Airport is just 20 minutes drive from Casa Meme (Casa Velha). We consider car hire is a must for guests to make the most of their stay in the Algarve.We can assist in arranging car hire. In most cases, we are able to offer a free pick up from the Airport on arrival. Please enquire direct for further information. Prices are for the property per week and per night (B&B) in UK Pounds. 5% Discount for visits of 2 weeks or more. 25% payable on booking and the balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. Heating for swimming pool an optional extra at £100 a week but this should not be necessary during summer months.
