A lovely traditional slovenian alpine house,recently modernised with new equipment in a quite location within 500 metres of all the amenities .Ample parking . The area is rich in scenery close to lakes Bled & Bohinj and on the edge of the triglav national park.There are many local persuits if you want them or you can choice to sit and relax enjoying the mountain air which is so fresh or get out and about to enjoy leasure and sport .An all year round holiday location

The Gorenska region
In the heart of the Julian Alps with warm sunny days (average summer temp 24c)The region is rich in tradition with local dairy and cheese production. Varied sporting activities summer and winter plus fantastic river and lake fishing for the local trout . The Kobla Ski School and lifts are about 500 metres away as is the ski bus for a short ride to the cable car and the vogle Ski complex. There is a variety of local places of interest including the soca valley with organised trips from the local tourist if you wish.
Bohinj / Bohinjski Bistrica area
The dairy musuem, Aqua Park, Lake Bohinj and the small villages on the way. Motor boats and canoes are available as is cycle hire. White water raffting nearby and there are plenty of walking and cycle paths all at different levels of ability. There is a varied choice of local bars, restaurants, serving a variety of local foods as well as a choice of very good coffee and pastry shops. The spring flowers are best end of may .The local supermarket is 500m as is the bank and post ofice.
How to get there
Several budget airlines serve Briinik (ljubljana)INCLUDING EASYJET FROM UK .Adria air link most of europe.Wizzair serve Poland and the rest of europe and scandanavia.Salsburg and marco polo are both about 2.5 hrs away.Direction from Brnik it is a 40 min drive. Just follow the main highway direction Jesnice and when you see the road sign for bled take the right filter . Go through Bled and continue past the lake towards Bohinj.When you arive in the village of Boh. Bistrica follow the road round to the right then take the first road on the left .now stop by the old shops. You are now 500 metrers from the house ,please follow local directions.

Further details indoors: Fresh light colours complement the wood block floors in the double bedroom. A pleasant location with a large fruit garden and children's area.(swing/seesaw) Recently modenised but retaining a slovenian home feel to make you comfortable and relaxed during your stay. There is a sofa bed in the lounge . A big entrance lobby .Acess to the shared sauna and basement facilites
Further details outdoors: An open area to the rear and both sides which is grassed .There is a hill orchard which is an adventure playground for younger children .There is covered parking for two cars and a further spaces for two . at the side of the house there is a large clothes line. and fruit trees to the other side and to the front .There are two bbq,s in the rear garden and a large covered seating area. ideal for those summer eavings or lunches . The rear garden is a real sun trap being south facing and will reach mid 30 degrees on sunny days. The location is perfect for big groups .

If you need more space you could rent the rest of the house . It will sleep up to12 .Just contact the owners. From 1 st august 2007 Slovenian law changed and rented holiday homes are now non smoking . You may smoke on the rear patio area. Please respect our wishes. The visitor book will be completed by our represetative. No outdoor shoes to be worn in the housepleaase. Recomend house shoes or slippers that are provided .
Conditions
The minimum stay is three days. Weekends can be booked but there is a premium for a short stay to cover laundry. You will need to pay a 20% deposit to book and the balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure as well as the refundable breakage deposit (returned within 14 days of your departure.)Tourist tax is not included .1Eur adults and50c per child per day.
