Lavender's is a one bed roomed 1st floor apartment set within the grounds of the owners house. It is entirely separate and private. Surrounded by lovely gardens including a beautiful and enclosed walled garden which is for guest's own exclusive use. So if you are bringing your dog, there is plenty of room for them to wonder safely whilst you soak up the sun on the sunbeds.
Great views of the garden and fields beyond from all the windows. Watch the horses play in the adjoining field, go bird watching, enjoy a country walk or just laze on the beach - the choice is yours. Previous guests have commented on how quiet and peaceful Lavenders is with no traffic noise, just the birdsong to greet you in the morning. Even though Lavenders is hidden away in the countryside it is within very easy walking distance to some great foodie pubs, restaurants, takeaways and shops including a Tesco Extra and a pretty tea room. A walk to the nearby famous Pagham Harbour is a must, just follow the public footpath through the fields which takes about 15 minutes. The area is great for walking the dog and for bird watching and the harbour itself is managed by the RSPB and we get lots of migrating birds, especially in winter.
Lavenders is stylish and comfortable with a spacious living room with flat screen TV, FreeSat and free high speed WiFi. There are comfortable sofas and a feature electric stove. The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar,microwave, cooker & fridge. The bathroom has a spacious shower and a lovely view of the walled garden. The large double bedroom has a king size bed (memory foam mattress) a day bed for children and plenty of storage. We can also provide a travel cot free of charge, if required. The apartment has characterful sloping ceilings but don't worry, there is plenty of headroom for taller guests.
And if you love horses, come and meet ours, they are all very friendly and happy for you to come and say hello! And if you don't, they are enclosed and you can watch them at a distance. There are also three resident dogs (friendly) and chickens, so plenty of free range eggs.

The apartment is on the 1st floor over a detached garage within the owners grounds. It has its own separate entrance and a hallway with plenty of room for the walking boots! All the rooms are on the 1st floor and lead off the bright landing. The apartment has been recently refurbished and has quality furnishings throughout.
There is full central heating for the colder months, so its lovely and cosy too!
For the children, we have a lovely day bed in the main bedroom and we can also provide a cot for smaller children. We can also provide baby towels, highchair, bottle warmer etc and if there is something specific you need, just ask! We will do our best to provide!
The apartment is a home from home with everything you would expect and more!

The apartment over the garage is adjacent to the main house and is entirely separate and private.
Please note there is a small water feature/pond and there are free range chickens, horses and well behaved dogs on site.
No smoking in the property but guests are welcome to smoke in the garden.
So Lavender's is in pristine condition for your arrival, check in is at 4.00pm and check out is at 10.00am (unless previously agreed)

We also leave you with a good supply of kitchen and loo rolls, so you don't have to squeeze them in your suitcase!
You can be assured of a friendly yet professional service when booking our homes, which you can do online on our website or if you prefer, by phone. Payment can be made by card, BACs or by cheque and whichever way you pay there are no extra charges or booking fees. The South East England region
West Sussex, is a county of contrasts. With the beautiful rolling hills of the South Downs, pretty chocolate box villages and stunning beaches, there is something for everyone! You can always be sure of plenty to do or see.
Why not visit Arundel with it's castle that's still home to the Duke of Norfolk, or famous Goodwood, where you can have a flutter on the horses or thrill at the motor racing on it's historic track. Why not come for the Revival or Festival of Speed and watch the stars of the motor world as they whizz by. Goodwood is also home to the Aeroclub and golf course.
If you love shopping, then give the Roman city of Chichester a visit. No shopping malls here, just a historic town centre full of individual shops and the more familiar high street chains. When you are shopped out, call in to the Cathedral for some quiet contemplation or maybe have a guided tour with one of the knowledgable guides.
Just down the road, about half an hours drive away, is Portsmouth where the Historic Dockyard is a must. Visit the amazing Mary Rose or walk the decks of Nelson's ship the Victory. Or why not take a boat trip around the harbour. You can get a ferry or the Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight from here too.
The train links are also very good. There is a direct route to London, which takes under 2 hours, so go shopping or see a show. But you can also visit the theatre in Chichester, the well renown Festival Theatre is just 10 minutes away, there you can see some rather famous thespians treading the boards.
West Sussex is packed with things to occupy you and your family during your stay. In fact there's so much to do, you'll have to come back and visit us again!
Pagham is a small village between Bognor Regis and Chichester. The beach is shingle and has great views across the bay to Bognor. The natural harbour is a must for bird watchers with migrating birds stopping over on their long journeys. The beach is also great for kite surfing and sailing.
The village has at least 4 character pubs all serving great food with roaring fires in the winter, these are all within walking distance. There is a Tesco extra, and other local shops again within walking distance.
There is a bus route to Chichester, Bognor Regis and Midhurst.
