Come and enjoy the sun at this stunning designer house which backs directly on the beach at Elmer Sands near Bognor Regis. Treat yourself and your family by staying at this wonderful home!
Great for family get togethers and weekends away with friends the Sugar Cube has been cleverly designed to make the most of the fantastic views over the beach and sea. The first floor is one big open plan living, cooking and dining space and a wall of windows open up on to the balcony that runs the whole width of the house. The furnishings are a combination of modern and vintage finds which create a very stylish living space. It is very well equipped from the coffee maker in the kitchen to the iPod dock in the living room. There is a heat recovery system/full central heating and a great wood burning stove for the colder months.
Downstairs there are 4 double bedrooms, which are simply yet stylishly furnished with great, comfy beds!
There are 2 doubles (king size beds) at the front of the house and at the rear, opening on to the garden are the two twin bedrooms, great for the kids or friends sharing. All the bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes and are of a good size. There is also a large playroom on the ground floor stuffed with books and games, to keep the children and parents happy.
There are 2 hotel style bathrooms, one with a huge shower (you could party in it!) and one with a bath with a hand held shower over.
The house has quality wooden floors throughout.
All our guests have really enjoyed staying here, the house is so comfortable and with the beach on the doorstep, they had everything they needed for a great holiday.

The South East England region
West Sussex, is a county of contrasts. With the beautiful rolling hills of the South Downs, pretty chocolate box villages and stunning beaches, there is something for everyone! You can always be sure of plenty to do or see.
Why not visit Arundel with its castle that's still home to the Duke of Norfolk, or famous Goodwood, where you can have a flutter on the horses or thrill at the motor racing on its historic track. Why not come for the Revival or Festival of Speed and watch the stars of the motor world as they whizz by. Goodwood is also home to the Aeroclub and golf course.
If shopping is your bag, excuse the pun, then give the Roman city of Chichester a visit. No shopping malls here, just a historic town centre full of individual shops and the more familiar high street chains. When you are shopped out, call in to the Cathedral for some quiet contemplation or maybe have a guided tour with one of the knowledgeable guides.
Just down the road, about half an hourâ??s drive away, is Portsmouth where the Historic Dockyard is a must. Visit the amazing Mary Rose or walk the decks of Nelson's ship the Victory. Or why not take a boat trip around the harbour. You can get a ferry or the Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight from here too.
The train links are also very good. There is a direct route to London, which takes under 1 1/2 hours, so go shopping or see a show. But you can also visit the theatre in Chichester, the well renown Festival Theatre is just 20 minutes away, there you can see some rather famous thespians treading the boards.
West Sussex is packed with things to occupy you during you holiday!
Elmer Sands is a small pretty village east of Bognor Regis, close to Middleton on Sea. There are local shops, churches, takeaways and pubs all within walking distance. The house is set in a private estate with nice quiet roads. The fantastic beach is tranquil and its possible to walk along it to Climping where the luxury hotel and spa, Baliffs Court can ply you with frothy coffees or walk in to Bognor Regis.
Nearby Bognor Regis is known as the sunniest place in England and it's true! The sun does shine here, but the British weather apart, Bognor is a lovely seaside town. It has a wide, paved prom, so itâ??s easy to walk along the beach watching the brave on jet skis or kite surfers as they soar in to the air jumping the waves.
Deckchairs are available to hire and of course there are lots of places to buy your ice cream and the essential bucket and spade!
Along the sea front Waterloo Square has crazy golf and bowling. Or walk in to the town centre for a wide range of shops and restaurants.

"great location and great property"
Sarah made the booking easy and she was there to help us settle in with a welcome pack including wine and flowers! she could not have been more helpful.
The property is superb and lives up to the description. Everything is top quality and everything works. All furniture, linen etc was excellent. everything is provided, including a gas barbeque and lots of outside furniture. Inside the premises were well decorated and very clean. tons of room for 6 adults and 3 children ( the playroom was a instant hit with everything that kids of 4 to 13 could want - including getting away from adults).
A lovely garden with direct access to the beach and fabulous views made the whole stay a joy.
The village has a shop, two pubs ( we ate at the Berisford and food was good) and a takeaway. Try a walk to Climping and enjoy the café.
Overall, a lovely English seaside holiday including the usual mix of weather.
Thank you for your review, I am so very glad you all enjoyed your stay and that the house including the playroom was such a hit!! I agree with you, the food at the Berisford is good and well worth a visit. Thanks for being lovely guests and I look forward to welcoming you all back to the Sugar Cube!

"Fantastic in every way"
The sugar cube is the perfect place to say . we could not have asked for more. It is extreemley well equipt and perfect beach setting. We went for a long weekend as a group of 30-40 year old friends/couples. Plenty of room that everyone has their own space. Just wish we had booked for longer. I really felt so sad when we had to leave. The pictures dont do this place justice. When you walk in and see the size of the living room and the sea from the balcony it takes your breath away.
We had a long drive from Manchester / Yorkshire but it was worth it. We spent a day out in Littlehampton and did the action speed boat trip which was great . woudl love to go again ! Sarah met us and was very welcoming , even though we where over an hour late due to the traffic. She was so helpful with the whole booking. thanks for a great weekend!
I am so very pleased you all had such a great time and that you all loved the house! You were simply brilliant guests, please do come and stay longer next time!
