The Famagusta District
Relax and unwind in the laid back ancient city of Famagusta, one of the finest examples of preserved mediaeval architecture in the eastern Mediterranean. The city is protected by ramparts which encircle the town and Othello's Towe, the citadel castle guarding the harbour, is the first main focus of attention for visitors. The 14th century was known as the golden age of Famagusta as a vibrant market town. The New town of Famagusta lies just to the south of the walled old city of Famagusta.
New shops, stores cafes and restaurants also flank the Salamis Road on the way to the university. Visitors are also advised to sample a Turkish coffee, a cake from the delicious patisseries and take in the magnificent Laguna beach marina.
Bogaz area
Bogaz a beautiful coastal village on the southern edge of the Karpas peninsula, with half a dozen fish restaurants dotted around its harbour. It also boasts some of the finest sandy beaches in Northern Cyprus.
A short trip up the coast and you'll discover the foundations of Strongylos Castle, a Byzantine watchtower used by the Knights Templar in the 12th Century
How to get there
Northern Cyprus is easily accessible (Via Larnaca) from most major airports. The Transfer from Larnaca to the Villas and apartments is just over 1 hour (Something that we can arrange for you).
Flights to the main international airport in Northern Cyprus (Ercan) are also available (Please note that all flights to Ercan have a 45 minute stop in Turkey)
