The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Turquoise coast is in a word beautiful, nestled between this coastline and the agean ocean Bodrum enjoys some of the most stunning sunsets in the world. The weather is warm and at its best between June and September and with the Turquoise sea and the beautiful mountain views there is everything you need to forget the rain and the wind.
Widely regarded as the fishing paradise of Turkey there are plenty of restaurants serving local caught fresh seafood. There are many local towns and villages each providing its own character and entertainment making it sometimes hard to fit everything in.
Bodrum / Gulluk area
Gulluk itself is largely quiet but close enough to the nearest towns and nightlife. Hire a boat for the day and visit the many bays. There are many shops and bars, restaurants and all close to the harbour area. There are two local beaches and there are two championship golf courses available nearby.
It is a predominantly Turkish village nestled in the pine topped hills with citrus and olive trees and with the harbour as its centre piece is a charming and delightful town.
