Located just 4km from Yalikavak, a traditional yet lively village, with a beautiful harbour, marina and beach areas, and 10km from Turgetries, a beautiful town on the Bodrum Peninsular.
Bodrum is only 20 minutes drive away, and is a very attractive coastal town with hundreds of shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs to suit all ages.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Aegean Coast of Turkey is one of the best landscapes in the country. The magnificent coastline, lapped by the clear blue waters of the Aegean Sea, has lovely beaches which are surrounded by olive groves, rocky crags and pine forests.
Whether you prefer idyllic fishing harbours, popular holiday villages or remnants of ancient civilisations dating back to almost 8000 years of history, culture and mythology, this region offers a holiday with something for everyone.
Gumusluk is a rural fishing village nestling in a sheltered bay. The sea is quite shallow for several metres and the waves are soft and gentle. The water is so clean shoals of small fish may be seen swimming close to the shore.
From Bodrum there is a daily ferry service to Kos, with tickets easily booked along the harbour front. Or catch a boat to many of the lovely coves nearby, some being practically deserted. Quaint fishing boats are another option for the day.
Excursions offered from Bodrum include a trip to Ephesus.
Bodrum / Gumusluk Village area
Gumusluk is a small fishing village set in a spectacular location voted one of Turkeys top ten most attractive bays a couple of years ago, small waterside bars and restaurants add charm and style to this resort. The people are wellcoming and friendly and the locally caught fish are a delight.
Gumusluk is the site of a town which was founded 5,000 years ago, then called Myndos. No excavations have ever been undertaken here, however, records are full of references to the city.
The cove entrance from the sea is concealed by the land in such a away that one can find it only if one knows exactly where to look. There is also a little island called Rabbit Island. When the sea is shallow, you can literally walk to this island via the small causeway of stones that was built in Hellenistic times. When you "walk" to the island, make sure to check out the remains of ruins underneath the water.
Bodrum boasts fantastic shopping, restaurants many bars and live music and discos and is a twenty-four hour resort.
How to get there
There are many regional airports in the UK operating reasonably priced charter flights to Bodrum (BJV) Milas Airport (approximately 35 mins drive to Bodrum). Most airlines operate during the summer months (April to October), although some airlines operate through the winter months.
We are happy to organise transfers or provide the website/contact details of a local travel agent who offer excellent private transfers or car hire to and from the airport. Transfer costs from Bodrum Airport to Gumusluk are £30 each way.
Please note that all UK citizens visiting Turkey need to purchase a £10 tourist visa (payable in £sterling) on arrival before you go through passport control. It is a multiple entry visa valid for three months.

* The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, hob & oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and all other kitchen utensils.
* There is also an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.
* The bedroom's have double beds with bedside cabinets, and ample wardrobe space.
* The fully tiled bathroom has a bath with and shower cubicle, basin and wc.
* The Wet Room downstairs has a W.C, sink unit and a shower.
Further details outdoors: The complex is managed by full time security staff.
We would request that if you smoke would you please do so on the balcony.
The villa is cleaned for you before you arrive and after you leave.
Maid service can be arranged if required.

A deposit of 15% is required at the time of booking and the balance payable 6 weeks before the departure date or immediately if the booking has been made within 6 weeks of the departure date. A refundable security deposit of £50 is required against breakages and damage which will be refunded within 14 days of the return of the apartment keys, and provided that our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the Villa.

"The villa is comfortable and beautiful, lovely surroundings on the "estate" with huge pool - very often the only ones there in the morning! Lots of mod cons for convenience too. Gumusluk village has fantastic fish restaurants - try the ones at the far end for a romantic dinner. The scenery is stunning and loved being with Turkish people all the time - even in the other villas. Definitely recommended!"

"The property was in a beautiful position, with a breathtaking view from the patio, from which we could enjoy spectacular views of the sunset every evening. The villa itself was extremely well equipped (the best we've ever experienced) and very comfortable. We also appreciated the care of the owners beforehand and after, who were keen to ensure that we had a good holiday and were extremely helpful in giving guidance and advice about the villa and surroundings, including car hire, and ensured that we also had someone at hand when we were there. Over all we had a wonderful holiday, and have already recommended the villa to many friends."

"The villa is very good located and indeed has the very beautiful views. The owner directions to the villa is very good, we find it easy. Everything we want is in the villa, and we loved it. The people friendly and hospitable are. The food lovely and the fabulous coast line, the seas are lovely and we had great times in them.
