The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The beautiful south western Lycia coastline offers breathtaking views, with pine covered mountains which climb out of the Mediterranean and fantastic weather throughout the seasons. You will find some of the best beaches in the world and the freshest fish caught often the same day brought to your dish.
Ideal for families, couples walkers, sun enthusiasts, photographers, or those interest simply in the ancient and historical culture. There are countless wonderful restaurants offering a variety of local and western typical foods to and a fantastic selection of imported and local wines and spirits. Not to mention a sunset unrivalled anywhere in the world.
Bodrum / Gumbet area
Whilst offering the opportunity for a quiet relaxing holiday, the villa also gives easy access to the sights and attractions of Gumbet with its tree lined walk along the coast line, offering a wide selection of restaurants at extremely good rates and a variety of nightlife with live music and nightclubs. Bodrum, which is a lively but authentic fishing village offers an imposing castle and harbour, is a 20 minute walk or short drive away and has all the facilities of a larger holiday resort. Even so, with its sugar-cube houses, it has retained its original charm. It has a smart new marina, sophisticated restaurants and some very expensive boats! The excellent museum of underwater archaeology at the castle of St Peter is a must. Around the peninsula there are beautiful villages, coves and beaches that have been barely touched by tourism. If you don't fancy driving, take a boat trip for a day and visit some of the bays and islands dotted around the peninsula. Day trips are readily available from Bodrum and Turgutreis.
Bitez is a must offering a small but safe sandy beach with a palm tree lined seafront full of small restaurants, boutiques, in addition to a windsurfing school . There is a direct dolmus from Bodrum to Bitez. or catch a bus outside the modern indoor shopping area of Oasis a short walk from the villa. ...................................................

How to get there
Most airlines fly directly into Bodrum. From here, the transfer time is max. 30 mins. You can either catch a taxi; Recommended contact number can be given on request, or hire a car, again we can recommend an agency.
Important information: Upon arrival into Turkey there is a mandatory £10.00 charge or local currency equivalent for entrance through customs, this is only upon entrance, not departure.

- Upon entrance to the villa you enter the kitchen which has all facilities including dishwasher - Down the stairs you enter the "garden room" with 2 singe beds, will a large en-suite and access to the garden. From this level you can access the lower floor again with 2 separate beds and large en-suite, or up the stairs which leads to the large lounge area and main balcony. Enter another level and you arrive at the top floor bedroom; again with own en-suite. - Lounge overlooks views to the bay - A water cooler - holds 19 litre water bottles (regular deliveries at approx cost of 4 lira each - less than £2) - Ornate bars on all windows and lockabledoors for added security - Water floats for the pool - All furniture thoughout is handmade, locally - Large handmade wardrobes in each bedroom, together with side cabinets - Iron / Ironing Board / Clothes Horse / Vacuum Cleaner - Lots of crockery / cutlery / pans etc. - A Travel Cot is available - Travel adaptors provided for UK plugs - Docking station for iPod

* English speaking maintenance personnel on-site * Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer. A non-refundable deposit of £100 will secure a booking, with the balance being due 8 weeks before departure. * A ₤250 refundable cautionary damages deposit is required with the final balance. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return provided no damage to the property or ts contents; Arrival & Departure - the property should be left in as close to the state to its condition on arrival, failure to do so will result in a £50.00 cleaning fee * Payment details will be provided on booking with the owner * Beach towels are not provided * For a stay over 1 week a cleaner can be arranged for a small charge
