'Flipflops' is a brand new, 2 bed, contemporary apartment situated in the stunning town of Gulluk. Ready to rent from July 09 it offers 2 communal swimming pools, gardens and lawns in the complex. Couple these facilities with the stunning Aegean Sea views from the terrace and you have a great holiday apartment! Flipflops is just 7 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins walk to the town with its supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and beach clubs.

Flipflops is a great base for a family sun holiday or for a more active golf & water sports break. Gulluk doesn't close so its an all year round resort with mild winters and hot summers. Ideal winter golf break destination with cheap flights, 15 minutes from airport and 2 golf courses and mild temperatures, 'Flipflops' has it all.

The apartment is modern and contemporary in design and fully equipped for a self catering holiday. All linen and towels are provided and it has air conditioning as well. Fully equipped kitchens with oven, hob, fridge, freezer and all your utensils are supplied.

Gulluk is just 10 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from vibrant Bodrum, 15 minutes from 2 golf courses and close to the abundance of great bays and beaches that stretch along the Turquoise Coast.

The nearest beach is just 7 minutes walk away! Plenty of beach clubs, bars and restaurants are within walking distance and the Gulluk promenade is great to take an evening stroll along.

A car is not essential as everything is within walking distance however we recommend you hire one so as to make the best of your holiday by exploring the many bays, golf courses and towns as easy as possible.

Conditions

Rentals are based on a minimum 5 night stay and we are flexible on arrival and departure days. Shorter rentals are available during low season as its a great winter break destination especially with Easyjet now offering flights direct to Bodrum

Security deposit of £100.00 is taken prior to arrival to cover damage/breakages etc and will be returned after departure inspection.

If the booking is made within eight weeks of the letting the whole of the rental payment is to be forwarded with your booking form, together with the security deposit of £200.00.

If the booking is made prior to eight weeks of the letting a rental deposit of 25% of the rental sum is to be forwarded with your booking form. The remaining balance of the rental sum and the security deposit of £200.00 are to then due eight weeks prior to the letting.

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Gulluk is a authentic fishing town located at the north end of the Bodrum Peninsula. The town of Gulluk is surrounded by hills covered with olive, fig and citrus trees overlooking to Gulluk bay known as being a `fishing paradise` in Turkey. Gulluk is a small resort surrounded by the pine topped hills of the Gulluk Korfezi (Gulf of Mandalya) on the southern Aegean coast of Turkey. Protected by the outlying Dodecanese islands, you`ll understand why they call this part of the Aegean the Turquoise Coast when you see the startling blue colour of the water.

It is also famous for it's archaeological sites around the area. Gulluk has only developed in the last few years because the shipping port has now moved 5km around the bay allowing the village to flourish as a charming holiday resort

The climate from May to October is hot and sunny with very little rain. The winter months are mild and Gulluk is ideal for a short winter break or sunny summer holiday

The Bodrum / Gulluk area

Gulluk is a charming traditional fishing village, located right on the Aegean coast, about 25 minutes drive from vibrant Bodrum.

Just 10 minutes drive from Bodrum International Airport, Gulluk is an excellent location for a great holiday all year round with its long hot summers and mild pleasant winters. Long weekends are not out of the question, with the budget airlines, short flying times and proximity to the airport, a winter getaway is a must.

Gulluk has a picturesque bay, which also offers views over the historical site of Iassos; an ancient city founded by Greek colonists. In Turkey, Gulluk is famously known as 'a fisherman's paradise', and as such the village has some fantastic fish restaurants. The lovely promenade provides a great place to have a wander or sit and enjoy the sunset. As Gulluk is west-facing it offers some stunning sunsets for you to enjoy.

An 18-hole golf course is just 15 minutes drive from the village, and with Gulluk offering many sailing and watersports facilities, there's something for everyone is this stunning village. A new marina is currently being built in Gulluk which will offer an upmarket area with new shops, bars and restaurants and is being labelled as the new Monte Carlo so will be quite exclusive. There is a couple of large supermarkets in the town for the everyday essentials.

Golf is not the only activity available locally with boat trips going from the bay daily for sightseeing or fishing, water sports and cultural trips to ancient sites such Iassos and Halikarnassus means that there is something for everyone. Bodrum is just 25 minutes drive away and this is a much larger town and a vibrant tourist resort.

Part of Gulluks irresistible charm is the way traditional culture sits comfortably alongside contemporary life. You can while the time with the locals in the village tea house before walking 5 minutes along the seafront to the cocktails, hammocks and dance music of the beach club. It simply has something for everyone.
