About the home

Self-catering 2 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies, two bathrooms (one en-suite). Choice of lake Tuzla view and roof terrace. Would suit everyone from young couples, young families to older couples. Either relax in the sun and watch the sun go down over the Tuzla lake or head into Bodrum to sample the night life.

The apartment is fully furnished and cleaned with all kitchen equipment, televisions and bedding and finished to a high specification.The apartment with the roof terrace does have an uphill walk to the restaurant but an identical ground floor apartment is available if required.

Tuzla is found along the Bodrum Peninsula consisting of beautiful sea and mountain views. Day trips are available to the Greek island of Kos. Turkey has a Mediterranean climate with very few wet days.

Average temperatures range from 20C from Feb to April and up to 35C in the summer months. The best beaches are in Bitez and Gumbet just outside Bodrum. Yalikavak is a beautiful fishing village and Ortakent has a brilliant Hypermarket stocking everything.

The Bodrum / Lake Tuzla area

Bodrum is soaked in history,including one of the seven wonders of the world-The Mausolem of Halicarnassos. Bodrum is a worldwide popular destination as well as for the Turkish wealthy. Bodrum has an exciting nightlife for the old and young alike.

It has great designer shops and local fish restaurants. Markets are on every day of the week. Boat trips are available from the fantastic Marina whether it is to find a secluded beach for sunbathing or fishing , swimming or snorkelling. Daily boat trips are available to the Greek island of Kos taking less than an hour journey.

Fly directly Bodrum airport and then go by taxi,coach or hire car to Lakeside Gardens,Tuzla which is approximately 10 K away down a very straight road .Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport. Driving licenses are essential. Flights are also available to Dalaman or Izmir (2 hours away). Courtesy bus available from complex daily to Bodrum into the early hours. Brand new 18 and 9-hole golf course five minute drive away. Ten minute walk to private beach.
