About the home

Located just 15 minutes from the airport on a brand new complex our apartment is perfect for families. The onsite shop, restaurant, children's play area, indoor & outdoor pools, gym, sauna & much more make it perfect for a relaxing break. Also, only a 25 drive minute away is Bodrum Centre itself with beautiful Marina, designer shopping & many traditional craft stalls & fantastic fresh fish restaurants along the front, it offers something for everyone.

With a brand new championship golf course across the lake, only a 10 minute drive away it is also perfect for those who like a round of golf or 2!

As you will see from the photos, the apartment is very well furnished with modern design and all the home comforts from flat screen TV to large family sized Fridge-Freezer. Most importantly all rooms are fully air-conditioned with individual controls for each room. There is an energy saver system by the front door.

The main bedroom has a double bed & plenty of storage for clothes & belongings with ample drawer & wardrobe space. It is also spacious enough to fit a travel cot should you need to. The main bedroom has an on-suite bathroom with shower, WC & bath. French doors open out from the room onto a small balcony overlooking the gardens.

The second bedroom consists of 2 single beds, which can be pushed together should you wish. Again, ample storage and room for a travel cot.

There is a second bathroom off the main area with good powerful shower & WC facilities.

A brand new boiler, washing machine, dishwasher & family fridge freezer make living very comfortable.

In the living area is a brand new 32" flat screen TV (buoght summer 2010) with cable television including many English Channels available, ranging from movies, to kids channels.

A dining room table with 4 chairs sits in the living / kitchen area with room for a high chair should you need one (available for hire).

The living area has huge glass windows & doors which open out onto a good size balcony with views of the complex, and beyond beautiful Tuzla Lake (which during winter is teaming with pink Flamingos), a new championship golf course & stunning mountain views.

We have young children so the property is well equipped with a booster seat and travel cot available for your use. There are also children's toys, books, buckets & spades etc which you are welcome to use.

There is a set of golf clubs in the apartment which you are fee to use, along with some basic fishing equipment.

Further details outdoors:
From the double french doors off of the living area is a large family balcony with views of the complex, lake, golf course & mountains. There is a table & 4 chairs with cushions & a large sun parasol.

Above the apartment is a huge roof terrace, the size of the apartment floor plate. Again, wonderful views of the lake etc. 2 adjustable sunbeds with good cushions, small table & sun umbrella with heavy base are situated on the roof terrace should you choose to spend some time there instead of by the pool.

The complex itself houses 250 apartments and has excellent communal facilities. The main pool is very large & has ample cushioned sunbeds & sun parasols for use. There is also a baby pool for little ones. There is an onsite shop stocking all you need, a games area with table tennis, table football, gym, sauna, heated indoor pool, beauty area, ground chess, children's climbing frame & swings area, floodlit tennis courts and an office which is staffed 24 hours a day should you need anything.

Further details

Our apartment is on a second floor & so is not suitable for wheelchair users.
The complex itself is set on a hillside and so areas of it are very steep, we wouldn't recommend it for anyone infirm or elderly.

Conditions

All bookings, regardless of length require a £100.00 refundable deposit which will be returned to you on inspection of the property on your departure.

The drive from the airport will take you along the coastline affording beautiful views of the stunning crystal clear blue waters of the Bodrum Peninsula. As you head out along it you will discover many popular resorts like Gumbet (if you fancy an English Breakfast & an evening of Kareoke!), Ortakent (Fantasic Hypermarket shopping for stocking up the fridge!), Bitez (great beach), Yalikavak (beautiful fishing village) and many more.

The Bodrum Peninsula is renound for its beautiful climate, offering sunshine from May through to the end of September and a mild climate through winter, perfect for golfers.

The Bodrum / Lake Tuzla area

Our apartment is located in Milas, which is a 30 minute drive from Bodrum Centre which is home to the wonderful Bodrum Castle, designer shopping, craft fairs & traditional shopping areas. Turkey is famous for great value leather goods and hand made rugs & carpets. With everything from quaint fish restaurants to the Mazarati Yacht Club & Floating night clubs, there is something for everyone in Bodrum.

Many excursions are available to book from the onsite office on the complex. Take a day trip to the ancient Ephesus & see fountains, temples, mosaics, baths & even a 2nd century brothel! A day trip to Dalyan & the ancient warm mud baths which are believed to have rejuvanating powers! See Pamukkale (meaning Cotton Castle) an amazing natural phenomenon created over millennia by spings that bubble up at a constant 35 degrees. Take a boat trip to the Greek Island of Kos or how about a day out to a traditional Turkish bath, or a village tour. There are countless things to see, our website has full detalis & the staff will be able to assist you with booking when you arrive.

The closest airport is Bodrum, Milas which is approximately 15 minutes drive to our apartment down a straight road & very simple to locate.

Charter companies such as First Choice, Thomas Cook, Thompson etc all fly direct from most UK airports to Bodrum May through October.

There are also options to fly to Izmir which is about a 1 hour drive away, and budget airlines such as Easy Jet fly to this airport.

You can also fly to Istanbul with scheduled airlines (such as BA) and change at Istanbul for a connection to Bodrum, Milas airport.
