About the home

This delightful newly built apartment, situated in a small exclusive development, will provide the perfect location for your holiday.

Overlooking the large swimming pool and Güllük Bay with its' spectacular sunsets, the fully air conditioned apartment comprises one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a large lounge and three balconies offering views to the bay. There is plenty of room for up to six people to enjoy.

The apartment is approximately 1 km from the centre of Güllük, an authentic Turkish fishing town, yet only 15 minutes drive from Bodrum airport with direct links to many UK airports, although it is not overflown. The cosmopolitan town of Bodrum with its chic shopping and lively night-life is approximately 30 minutes drive. The nearest beach is only a minutes walk and other local facilities are within easy walking distance.

For the more active there is a compact gym on site, and Vita Park Golf Resort is approximately 15 minutes drive away.

As you watch the sun setting across the turquoise waters of Güllük Bay from your balcony you'll soon be unwinding from the stresses of everyday life and will realise what a relaxing and magical place this is.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The stretch of coast from Marmaris to Antalya, known as the Turquoise Coast, takes its name from the turquoise, warm, crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. This area boasts almost 300 days of sunshine a year with temperatures from the mid 30's in summer to a mild 15 degrees in the winter, making this a wonderful place for year round holidays.

It is no surprise then that water sports feature prominently in activities in this area, including sailing, diving, water skiing and wind-surfing.

Renowned for traditional fishing villages whitewashed homes and sandy beaches this is a delightful area to lose a few days exploring.

The Bodrum / Gulluk area

Bodrum is approximately 30 minutes drive from the apartment, much of the way running along the picturesque coastline. As you enter the town, the impressive St. Peters Castle dominates the waterside area and modern marina. Boats to the nearby islands of Kos and Rhodes run from Bodrum port. Designer shops will meet the need for retail therapy, bars and restaurants to refresh the inner man while traditional bazaars and antiquities provide a link to the history of this fascinating area.

Güllük is a traditional Turkish village surrounded by pine topped hills with olive, fig and citrus trees and is built around its harbour, where the fishing fleet still lands its catch daily. It offers a good range of waterside restaurants and bars, beach clubs, modern supermarkets and banking facilities, whilst retaining its small town charms. The local people are warm, friendly and welcoming and English is widely spoken.

“A relaxing holiday environment” I have just returned form my second stay at Beach Residence; and I enjoyed it even more this time. The apartment is light, airy and well equipped. Situated just outside Gulluck, and only about 15 minutes from the airport, it is a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Yet the town is easily reached by local bus or taxi, if you don't fancy the walk. Gulluck is a not just a tourist centre; as a working fishing port it is full of real Turkish charm. The people are genuinely welcoming and friendly. The restaurants and bars are plentiful and very reasonably priced and most overlook the beautiful bay.

“Excellent spacious clean comfortable apartment with sea view” Terrific location,5 mins from unspoilt beach,& local shop.Excellent service by local Dolmus to Gulluk. Great relaxing boat trip & mud bath with Koca Orfoz, .& fishning trips available.Great location for Bodrum & shopping.Gulluk thursday market recommended to get a bargain & fresh fruit & vegetables. Apartment highly recommended, spacious clean & terrific view of sea & pool,with all essentials for a relaxed holiday. Many reasonable priced restaurants in Gulluk recommended.Friendly helpful locals.

“Lovely Apartment with Pool, Beach and Restaurants” This apartment looks brand new, is nicely furnished, and has aircon all round. Balcony with sea view. There is a big pool, beautifully clean, with sunbeds and shades. No need to go any further, but if you fancy a dip in the sea, it's only a few minutes walk away. Also walkable, but also with minibus access, is nearby Gulluk. Traditional fishing village with good range of restaurants serving excellent standard of food. Daily boat trips to several nearby beaches. Everybody is very hospitable and everything is fantastic value. After years of Eurozone holidaying you'll really notice the difference!

John & I had such a lovely time at Paul & Sue's apartment in 2009 that we weren't sure whether to go back. We did and had an even better time in 2010. We spent most days relaxing round the pool and drifting into Gulluk for dinner - excellent value! But we also rented a car and visited Ephesus, which was amazing.The people are so friendly as well. We've booked for 2011 already. (Sharon Anderson September 2010)

I recently returned from my holiday in Beach Residence in Gulluk.
I booked the apartment through Paul relatively last minute. Paul was extremely pleasant and helpful and sent all the details very quickly. I recommend using his service to be collected from the airport and taken to the apartment.
The apartment was lovely with a fantastic view. Very clean and well kitted out and larger than most the apartments I have stayed in before. It was a joy to have two bathrooms as I had two teenagers with me! The pool area is beautiful overlooking the bay. There were plenty of sun loungers and so no need to take down towels early morning!. All the staff and residents were extremely friendly and helpful.
All in all we had a fantastic time. I would recommend a holiday in Gulluk and definitely at Beach Residence. Paul offers a great apartment and a great service too! (Carole McPhail. July 2009)
