About the home

This 3 storey villa offers everything a visitor could want – privacy, stunning views and only 10 minutes walk into the hustle and bustle of town. Bodrum castle is a spectacular sight lighting up the evening sky. For peace and tranquillity return to the villa for a refreshing dip in the private pool (7.5m x 3.5m) or head for the beaches just 10 minutes walk away. Local buses (Dolmus) pass by frequently and there is a taxi rank close by at the Manastir Hotel. Enjoy the pool side lounging area, 2 balconies or the roof terrace for drinks and meals. With the cool sea breeze reaching up from the bay – this is a wonderful holiday home! Undoubtedly one of the best areas to stay in Bodrum: close proximity to the town and yet tucked away on the hillside for relaxing moments.

The villa has been furnished to a high standard with everything to make your holiday a memorable and relaxing experience. There is satellite TV and for your use there is a mobile phone provided.

Ground Floor: Open-plan Kitchen/Diner and pool-side lounge with patio doors leading on to the pool and terrace. One bedroom with twin beds and a second with a single bed. Shower room close by.

First Floor: Spacious lounge leads to main balcony shaded by Jasmine and Bougainvillia - panoramic views of Bodrum and sea!

Second Floor: Two double bedrooms with Juliette balconies and a convenient bathroom.

Roof: Partly shaded with loungers and table and chairs. The views are fabulous!

The villa has all hand made Turkish furniture (wardrobes, dressing table, mirrors etc) with plenty of storage for clothing. Woodblock and tiled floors throughout .

Further details outdoors:
The pool terrace is set up for your enjoyment and views of the sea are magnificent . Extra sunbeds are positioned on balconies and roof terrace. The choice is yours!

For peaceful moments relax in our hammocks under soothing pine trees.

Outside dining for 8 on the balcony overlooking pool.
Alternatively dine under the stars on the roof terrace with cooling breezes.

Garden and pool lights so that you can entertain or swim in the evening.

We do supply all bed linen and towels but ask guests to bring their own beach/pool towels.

Airlines that are reasonable are Excel, Thomas Cook, A1 Travel, onur Air who all fly direct to Bodrum in season.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

There is a daily ferry service to Kos, with tickets easily booked along the harbour front. Alternatively, why not try catching a boat to ione of the many lovely coves nearby, some of which are practically deserted?

Quaint fishing boats are another option for the day. Excursions offered from Bodrum centre are Ephesus, Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Milas Carpet Village, Thermal Mud Baths, Amphitheatre and more...

The Bodrum / Central Bodrum area

Bodrum is a shoppers paradise: a vibrant town centre offers cafes, fish restaurants and tiny shops selling leather, jewellery and beachwear. Looking for Turkish culture - head for the local bazaar or browse for souvenirs in the narrow streets. The lively port and yacht marina is a busy hub with fishing boats bobbing amongst the locally built wooden gulets of all sizes, some offering state of the art facilities. This picture-postcard resort is often referred to as the St Tropez of the eastern Aegean. It has a cosmopolitan atmosphere and a lively night-life. The focal point of Bodrum is the magnificent 15th-century castle of St Peter with the Mausoleum resting close by – known as one of the seven wonders of the world! Scuba diving in the turquoise waters is on offer for adventurous souls or take time out at the Turkish baths opposite the bus terminal. Bodrum boasts the largest outdoor disco in Europe (Halikarnas)
All this on offer and Villa Leila nestles right above, within the layers of dazzling cube-shaped, white-washed houses rising up from the harbour.

Fly to Bodrum Milas Airport
The journey to Villa Leila from the airport is a lovely scenic drive of only 45 minutes.
Taxis pick up and drop off to the airport charging approx. £35.00 each way. Confirm price before leaving.

Flights with the carrier Onur Airlines now travel ALL YEAR ROUND to Bodrum. Other airlines that are reasonable are Excel, Thomas Cook, A1 Travel and Easy Jet.
