The villa is part of a small number of villas and apartments built by an English builder on a prestigious site on a hillside just on the outskirts of Yalikavak in 2007. The property is a triplex unit with an identical villa attached to our property and a penthouse apartment on the third level. A traditional Turkish fishing village on the Northern (quieter and less commercialised) coast of the Bodrum Peninsula. It has just started to appear in the mainstream travel brochures and so is a perfect retreat for those more discerning of travellers, looking for a quieter holiday but in easy reach of the hustle and bustle of Bodrum.
The villa sits high on a hillside overlooking Yalikavak bay and the Greek Isles beyond. The sea is in such close proximity that we guarantee you will be in awe of the views that can be seen from every South facing aspect of the property and which offer possibly the best unobstructed views in Yalikavak.
The price you pay for the views from every level is the steepness of the slope. The road is very inclined and would require a certain level of fitness to go up and down on. Renting a car is useful to avoid having to walk the incline. You can howver get dropped off by taxi at the top level, walk down to the villa. When you want to go out you can get the taxi to come up the drive so that you never have to walk up the slope

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The Bodrum Peninsula is one of the most beautiful parts of Turkey�s Aegean Coast. There are numerous small fishing villages and resorts around the coast, each with their own individual character. There are many beaches and many offering a range of watersports.
Lycian and Roman ruins can be found throughout the region including attractions such as Ephesus, the largest archaeological site in the world, the temple of Apollo at Didim and the 16th century castle of St Peter built by the crusaders in Bodrum.
Bodrum / Yalikavak area
There are a range of boat trips that can be taken from Yalikavak or Bodrum that visit many secluded coves, or if you wish to go further a field you can take a daily ferry to the Greek island of Kos from the harbour at Bodrum or Turgutries. Scuba diving, sea fishing, horse-riding, Turkish baths and jeep safaris are just a selection of other activities that can be arranged with one of the local travel agents. Car hire can also be arranged in Yalikavak if you wish to explore the area independently.
A small shop selling essentials is within 200 yards. Supermarkets, Fishmongers in the town centre 5 min drive away

Direct flights to Bodrum.
Fly ot Dalaman with easy jet and then a 3 hour transfer.
Fly to Kos in Greece and a 45 min ferry to bodrum, 40 min to yalikavak.
