A luxury and spacious apartment with an excellent beach front location. There are three balconies, each of which have sea views. The development of some 70 apartments features a large swimming pool (with a separate pool for young children) and a gym.
The property is located approximately 1.5 km from the centre of Gulluk. There is a shop for provisions within easy walking distance and a bus service into town.
Gulluk is a fishing town which has developed around three bays. It is a well established holiday centre with numerous bars and restaurants. There is a modern supermarket for provisions and a weekly market each Thursday. Inexpensive dolmus (mini bus) services to surrounding areas run from the bus station.
In short the apartment provides luxury accommodation catering for most holiday needs.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
This section of coast is notable for spectacular sunsets and stunning views of the sea and adjacent islands. The area has mild winters and hot summers with unbroken sunshine from May to October. Between April and November the daily maximum temperature ranges between 20% and 35% in July and August. High temperatures are mitigated by cooling breezes from the sea.
The area is renown for diving and sailing. Also boat trips from Gulluk to outlying bays are available at reasonable daily rates with fishing, swimming and snorkelling an option.
The local people are very hospitable and it is inexpensive to eat out.
Bodrum / Gulluk area
The ancient port of Bodrum can be reached within approximately 35 minutes by road. The journey itself is a pleasure as the road hugs the coast for much of the way. Bodrum is dominated by its medieval castle and large yacht marina. There are many exclusive shops and restaurants in the city and a traditional Turkish bath is located close to the bus station. A short ferry ride will take you to the Greek island of Kos.
Turkey is the location for many sites of antiquity. There are numerous Roman remains at Iasos which is accross the bay from Gulluk. Ephesus is located some 140 km north. On the way Euromos can be visited, with its temple of Zeus, and Herakleia, with its temple of Athena and long city walls. On a hill high above Milas is Labranda, a site once dedicated to Zeus.
The historic city of Istanbul is well worth a visit, either as a stop over at the beginning or the end of your holiday, or by taking a flight from the local airport. The historic old town is easily reached by local transport (train and tram) from Ataturk airport.

Fly to Bodrum - 10 km from Apartment - flight time from London just under 4 hours. Taxi to and from Airport - approx cost £20 Car hire available but not essential (will pick up and drop off at airport)
